Yeah, from the looks of the image, it's following this barbarian-looking guy. I don't think we've ever seen him before. It's possible this is more of a "Origin of the Keyblades" sort of story, or something.

It's the safest decision they could make, since it wouldn't require them to follow up on a single existing plot thread.

We’ll see, but my unsubstantiated theory/hope is that the success of X-Men 97 and Ducktales is prompting other arms of Disney to look at other animated revivals.

Now we know why the live action info about Gargoyles dried up...Disney+ passed on it. We'll see if the animated revival has better luck (I'm not holding my breath)

Huh. I figured the ship for a Darkwing Duck reboot might have sailed by now, since it's been years since the Ducktales reboot ended, and the hype would have died down. Okay! I'm interested to see what they do with it.
Seth Rogan has too many voice characters that sound the same. I want Launchpad to be a new voice that I don't recognize.

I'd love that, but to sadly be the one who brings the mood down. When was the last time you saw Disney make a game based on a show they did? Or even one of their movies?

Well, we just got Gargoyles Remastered not that long ago. It wasn't as good as Ducktales Remastered, but still. I could see Disney giving us another remaster of the NES Darkwing Duck game. (Plus, Dreamlight Valley is a thing, even though it's more based on everything Disney, rather than a specific show.)
I wouldn't expect a NEW game. But, a new version of a old game, with nicer art? Sure! Why not? C'mon!
