We played 10 hours! Geez!
No spoiling anything but I'm so annoyed cuz I couldn't find one boss. Turns out the map says the percentage of the place discovered but we had all the clues so I thought maybe he could be found already. Darn it!

Got my Switch version from Best Buy this week, but things came up and I haven’t gotten a chance to play.

Hey, I just found out something. Do the Konami code on the main menu

You get a "Sonia Belmont" outfit. How they decided what Sonia's colors were when hers was a Game Boy game, I don't know...but it looks pretty cool.

Anyway, I replayed the demo last night, this time adjusting the sliders a bit, and found the experience more enjoyable than when I tried with the defaults. That said, I'm still not sure I'm sold on it. But at least I'm open to possibly revisiting it sometime in the future, maybe.
I just found the bad ending. I do suggest finding it because it does unlock a costume.
If you keep going up the clock tower too early in the game, you're companions will highly encourage you to turn back (except Medusa who of course wants you to continue). You meet Dracula and the curse takes over Rose. You'll get credits and be sent back to the main menu. When you continue, the Ferry Man will tell you you've been given a second chance. You'll also unlock a costume.
How many hours to get the bad ending? I'm afraid I might have gotten lost. Spent a lot of time trying to solve one tarot clue set when it might not have been solve-able with exploring the castle more. Might not even be required to finish the game?

Heads up for anyone else just playing. Like everything I see says: "Oh you can fast travel by kneeling in front of the mirrors!" You have to find an upgrade first. Everyone leads you to believe you can just do it. Not the case.
I nearly thought Medusa was impossible for me at the moment due to that attack where she shoots lasers everywhere, only to finally notice a green rock that falls from the ceiling stays around and you can hide behind it.
Also I'm sure everyone else figured it out, but I do like that you can avoid getting stoned if you simply look away from her.

I didn't count hours. I'm probably not one to judge by anyway given all the cheating I do with the difficulty slides. But navigationally speaking, you can do it as soon as you get to the castle. Make your way to the clock tower and continue going up!
I see. We were already in the clocktower. The map and one clue already showed where the guardian of Dracula is. OK, we'll aim to beat Dracula already so we can get the alternate suit, thanks! Will just get the extra tarot cards on new game plus or whatever.
You don't beat Dracula. He corrupts you and he wins. It's all cinematic, not gameplay. But then you continue the game from there.

Another minor thing I'm going to guess someone else noticed, but I've caught on that when you see a rat, it'll run into the wall and that's where a hidden area is.
Same with those little alcoves that look like tiny dead ends but you slide into to uncover hidden rooms.
