Many, MANY reports of a severe QC defect.
Inner robot Prime uses the same torso transformation as the original figure from 25 years ago, with a long "spine" and a chest that has to get pulled / pushed around it. The tip of the slider bar in the spine is too big to safely make that move, and many people are reporting Prime's painted abs have large vertical cracks
all the way through the plastic.
It can happen directly out of the box, or after any number of extensions / contractions of the chest (like if you're okay the first two times it can still happen the third).
Apparently there is a fairly easy fix... fortunately the parts are all screwed together, no pin work.
Are there any screws you can safely loosen to lower the pressure on that area? yes

I can't remember the last time we had a build error this severe, let alone on a much-hyped premium crowdfund. Many are blaming a rush job to ship before the tariffs, but I think it's more likely the fault of losing so much experienced staff to layoffs.
