Yeah, if a collectable is a "blind pack" with a code so I can know what I'm getting, I'll pick up a few. But if it's a true blind pack? I'll pass. Not a gambling man.

Yeah, even original Kong wasn't meant to be 100% a big gorilla, if I recall correctly, but more something in-between, very much like yeti and sasquatch but much bigger. Meanwhile, with Skar King trending more to orangutan, I kept alternating between humming King Louis' "I wanna be like you"...

I always wondered why one driver was chrome and one driver was red; when I learned that it was meant to be Space Cobra and Lady Armoroid, it made a lot more sense!

It's a Mecha-Yip-Yip!

Finally got ML Prototype Arcee with my POL; as my first foray into Missing Link, I don't feel like her transformation is overly inauthentic, especially for a design that never actually transformed before. I need to get the rest of my movie-era figures out and do some group photos. I will say, I...

I thought he was named after The Stampede...?

So, the final episode of Ultraman Omega aired this weekend, and a new series of New Generation Stars will start soon. I really liked this series, it had a lot of new kaiju and a fairly interesting dynamic, and I hope we see more of Omega beyond the next series.

Godzilla Minus One, Godzilla Minus One Minus Color, Transformers One, The Wild Robot (because i wanted to), The Minecraft Movie (because I am the father of a 7-year old). Bonus: Dogman (a matinee at the oldest continuously running movie theater in the world)(also because 7-year old, but I...

The real Cyclonus is the Cyclonus you met along the way...

I always thought the G2 Autobot faction symbol was a pretty cool update of the G1 version. (Took me way too long to realize it was Optimus' head!) Never much cared for the Decepticon one, though it's arguably closer to the G1 version. This was an interesting study of the evolution of faction...

"Relatively normal" comes to mind... :p

Y'know, this but with Galvatron's cannon altmode might be a viable possibility... maybe a future Missing Link?

I am kind of tired of Megatron's default can't-be-a-handgun altmode almost always being a tank. I mean, I get it, it's a machine purpose-built for war, has a big gun, etc. But it seems like it would make far more sense for him to be a jet. Or an attack helicopter. Something that could keep up...

I regret not buying Megabolt Megatron, despite seeing him several times at a KayBee Toys store during that era. If only current me could talk to 20-year-old me, there's quite a few figures I passed over then that I would have bought if I knew then what I know now...

Is that minty green Leo Convoy glow in the dark?

You know, with the prominent 5mm port on the roof, if I get this iteration of Bee, instead of Devastation Bee, he's going to be Targetmaster Bumblebee. Just need to find an appropriate weapon buddy for him...

I would buy the Jazz and Seeker decos, for sure!

A quick check of the Wiki seems to indicate that most of the Selects sets of Deluxe and/or larger figures (not counting sets of Micromasters, etc) were 2-packs or 3-packs, with the only real exception being the Autobot 5-pack. Meanwhile, Target has had 4 different 4-packs since Legacy; it's not...

In all fairness, nearly every other multi-pack has been a Target exclusive, so it wasn't that far off the mark.
