I watched the Star Trek animated series on The Sci-Fi Channel (along with the Planet of the Apes cartoon!) when i was in my teens and loved it! I bought the DVD set when first came out, and recently started rewatching it with Haywire3, who was getting into it! I think my favorite bit was the...

Yeah, for many years, and with a few exceptions, I pretty much let my brothers collect GI Joe while I was the Gobot and Transformer guy. The main exception was the B.A.T.s; I always liked those robot troopers with the swappable arm attachments, and kept collecting as many as I could. Classified...

So, I have been reading through volume 1 and 2 of the new English omnibus editions of the Cat's Eye manga (City Hunter is next), and it occurs to me that I would actually like to see a coffee table book of the Michael Heinz art collection. Like, I know none of this art actually exists, and I'm...

There used to be a Japanese drink called CC Lemon (I think) which was a very, very lightly carbonated lemon drink. I always preferred that to regular carbonated drinks, but then I moved to an area without a decent Asian market, so I have no idea if it even still exists.

YMMV, but I think it's safe to say the Great Walmart After-Holiday Clearance has begun. (For better or worse...) Coralville, IA, Walmart tonight had Blue Grimlock for $20, the Naruto crossover for $25, Hot Wheels Bone Shaker for $15 (but Twin Mill was still $35!?!), SS Airachnid(!) for $20...

So, the three nearest McDonalds to me are still stuck on the week 1 offerings. Supposedly only 1 and 2. Going a little further away tonight, hopefully come across some week 2 dudes soon!

I saw this today and felt I needed to share...

I'm kinda curious what movies they have in mind, I didn't see any specific titles mentioned for consideration? They probably can't say until they secure the rights, but it would make a difference to me if there are kaiju films in the mix.

Ah, missed that bit, thank you!

It makes me wonder if there will be a molded-in heart detail inside his chest...

Really hope we get a Bad Boy version of that Powerglide (maybe another Gobot 3-pack with Buggyman Beachcomber and Man-O-War Seaspray?)

Maybe they'll come in Valentines Day-themed packaging?

Yeah, my wife has gotten into the habit of asking what they have for Happy Meal toys before she orders to avoid duplication, and if it does happen, they are usually good to exchange it if they have alternates. Usually. Depends on the crew, and depends on how busy they are.

And now for something...completely the same: TFW has pics of the rest of 2026 wave 2 up. Powerglide comes with the alien mask from the obligatory Hollywood episode. I...kinda like it. Animated Ratchet looks decent, but..younger? Swerve is not wowing me; may just stick with the Generations...

BAAT, the flying Sigma Six B.A.T.s (those were a thing, right? I didn't just imagine them?), and Spy Troops/VvsV Overkill are my shortlist of NEEDED figures. Also, the Cobra Robot from the early Marvel comic, but only because it would scale nicely with 3-3/4 figs.

Yes, but we're the nicest tired, jaded, sarcastic asses in the fandom!

@Donocropolis I would potentially be interested in a trade page. So far, we've gotten what we wanted for me and Haywire3, but it hasn't been without some effort, and if we happen to come across one that others need, I do like to help out!

I'm probably going to get Overkill on principle (because B.A.T.). Zanya is an interesting choice, has she been in much fiction since the Image/Devils Due series?

@Magnus First of all, welcome to the Allspark! Second, if the new Nexus works for you, that's awesome! No Transformer is ever going to please everyone, but it's good to see people who are excited for this! Third, I can only provide my own perspective, but for me, Nexus' depending on my buying...
