Onyx isn't the first Transformers-branded centaur! The Animorphs subline had two! (either would make for a better deco than Browny McFeces currently has)

I think it's just Target. The recent Overload's boxart is in the same style.

I was going to snark about army-building Leaders, but then I remembered Overcharge and I think I need to go lie down for a bit.

Is there a list of animation errors that are at least as common as the correct version anywhere? Because there seem to be many such cases. (Okay, I'm exaggerating, but if the error is prevalent enough-- maybe 20% of the time?-- it's hard to see it as terribly wrong, more of an alternate...

where's my Deceptitran toy, tho? (harumph)

Oh, sure, and once he gets one toy, the odds of another are higher. It's just interesting to see what's memorable or popular. You never really know who'll be the fan-favorite or breakout character.

I like the idea of Galvatron being a little bit taller than Megatron, but based on the reformatting scene, it looks more like he's really just bulkier. To me, anyway. Hard to guess the director's/animators' intent (for whatever that's worth) when they're floating in space like this (edited...

Kremzeek sure gets a disproportional amount of merch considering his one appearance.

Transformers: Wild King -- new "Wildocking" animal limb combiner series from TakaraTomy

If Hasbro needed a quick filler redeco line, they could do a lot worse than these guys with some Armorizers, Fossilizers, and Junkions.

Not a whole league, and they have a *lot* of existing names they can recycle. But, like, one done up like Thundercracker as Skybolt of the Kaon Seekers or whatever.

I could go for some pre-existing TF colorschemes representing fictional teams.

I don't think we saw prices for the Hot Wheels guys, either. ANYWAY. If there's only one mold (well, at least a couple different heads), maybe that keeps the costs down.

    The Repaint Concept Thread

There's also the G2 Cybertronian colorscheme, (teal/green, silver/cream, mostly) which wasn't stereotypically evil-looking, but gave a menacing, skeletal vibe with the (largely) skull-based heads. (Part of that was the uniformity/consistency, which IMO also helps combiner teams and subgroups--...

Snarl was in the show itself, though. He also didn't have any recent releases, and was part of a defined team.

Hooray, someone remembered Kranix had an altmode in his Universe profile! It's kind of sad, but also hilarious. Shockwave is kind of interesting-- I don't see them bothering with a new mold, and the last one got a comic-based redeco. I guess they've simply tweaked colors before, but it just...

    HasLab 2025: Liokaiser

One design aspect of Puzzler I loved is that he didn't *need* the legs- the torso could zoom around fine on the cop car. (It probably helped that I only had those two and an arm.) BUT ANYWAY OG Devastator is clearly an early attempt and it's kind of funny how much time and effort has been...

    HasLab 2025: Liokaiser

Puzzler's complete lack of combiner kibble is kind of amazing, though IMO less amazing than Hasbro's refusal to get the hint.

kinda getting Go-Bot Power Suit vibes anyone* can be part of a combiner! *not all figures eligible. Void where prohibited. Ask your doctor if Cortexiphan is right first you. Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball.

Transformers: Wild King -- new "Wildocking" animal limb combiner series from TakaraTomy

Lightlong in animation looks even more ungainly, wrong, and pantomime horse-ish. I cannot wait to get these guys and swap their animal heads around.
