Would you believe they were the only ones I had on hand? My others are all up at my nephews. He's good at borrowing, not so good on returning. But he's also a kid who is actually playing with them, not displaying them, so I'm all in favor. Besides, these two actually matched pretty good for...
I can't right now, I was lucky to complete the other Bruticus and to have the guns and parts I used already. Things are getting a bit weird again. But thank you for the thought! Back in the day I improvised with the yellow dozer, a couple guns on it to make an arm cannon, and one of the...
I just realized, Fansproject Munitioner back in the day cost $50. People said it was outrageous and it was, especially in a day of ten buck deluxes. Maybe his 3rd party relative gave Swindle ideas?
Between the Centurion pack and Red Cog I was very happy with the accessories-and-repaints packs (you can see the radar dish on top of ShoulderWave), and while Tricranius was a general letdown for me, my nephew loved it, so to each their own. I don't understand why they stopped doing the extra...
"One shall stand, one shall-Ok, you know, this never works, I'm just going to hit Megatron in the face with an axe and see if that accomplishes anything."
"Why do you-wait...back up, do WHAT?!"
-The battle of Autobot city went a bit differently and also got the movie's rating bumped a few...
I figured out that the 'hollow tube' gun with the odd foregrip from Red Cog will let AOTP Bruticus hold a CW Shockwave without having to file or cut anything. Pure coincidence but it slots right together, no mods needed.
Then just fold it back flat, and he's set!
I was going to cut off the...
On a weird note, you know how I was throwing various parts of the Red Cog pack at Bruticus to see what stuck? Well, the 'hollow tube' gun with the odd foregrip that was supposedly intended to be an adapter for Arcee and weaponizers (I never had a compatible Arcee) also works to let AOTP...
I love the paint on Bruticus! I never got a missing link ANYTHING, I have been wondering about getting a G1-ish Prime for my own self, not to share with my nephew. Not sure what might work best, though. My favorite design is RID for him and I have the Haslab, but one similar to my first one...
I've split the difference, there's aspects of both systems I like and dislike. My Defensor is CW, my Bruticus is frame. Copied from the picture thread, I know it's not the 'eye to eye' matchup from the cartoon but I like how it works. Unless something absolutely amazing shows up (and the mix of...
I think despite the color mismatch that Swindle's trailer gun works really well on top of Onslaught's 'base mode' trailer. The socket sizes match to attach it and the barrels are close enough in scale to look intentional.
And if you have a Red Cog and a Viper, you can get a really good...
I know this sounds dumb but I wish I could get it more reasonably, because it's the sort of egg shaped thing I'd love to put in my nephew's Easter basket. It would fit perfectly!
If we're talking about corsets, then yes. Clearly this line of robots took that sort of thing very seriously.
Is the weapon some air bellows thing for transforming, or a water squirter...?
I did! I also added a radar dish and a hose extension from my parts bin to add a 'sight' and have him plug into the back of Bruticus like its a power supply. I have the Core Siege Shockwave and Viper for guns too. Bruticus got tricked out!
