Yeah, think about all the shows that start the next season "2 years later" or "Now it's the 90s"

It's going to take a lot for me to ever give a jive about this franchise again

I wasn't looking forward to watching The Orville right after coming off the heels of the SNW season finale but this episode ended up being really good.

Holy shiiiiiiiii.... I didn't think it was possible. I certainly didn't expect it - but every singe episode of SNW season 1 was good. To say they *finally* understand Star Trek is an understatement. And that finale... holy crap that was awesome. I'm so glad I didn't get spoiled on any of it

I didn't forget about the Enterprise gorn or the even stupider Lower Decks gorn. I just didn't feel like it added anything to the lore

It took me a long time to get to this point, but I realize that not every line spoken and every single thing shown on screen needs to be preserved as gospel from the TOS. I mostly started coming around when I realize how many minor things got ignored or outright changed without a second after...

So that was a long episode, like a movie as many have been so far this season.

Not being a part of the Arrowverse (Earth Prime) confirmed.

As much as I loved the movie as a bookend to a wonderful trilogy.. I'd be fine if they just left it at that

It seems season 1 is running the gamut of Star Trek tropes and this week is no exception with the obligatory "holodeck" episode. Reminds me of elements from the Voyager episodes where the Hirogens took over to run Nazi simulations or DS9 where the crew's transporter patterns ended up in Doctor...

Season 4 is tolerable but it's mostly stupid.

And whether it matters or not to anyone, the events of The Cage have already happened.

This episode went a notch down since last week but you can only rise so high before needing to take a break. It was still a good episode but it wasn't something I was super excited about. The whole side plot with the pirates on the ship between the chilli making and the sowing dissent was just a...

Funny you should bring that up in light of T'Pring's reading list in Episode 7, eh? :D

I didn't realize how jivety my camera was until I saw this on a computer.

Nothing really new we haven't already seen but here are some pics

What are you posting on? I've never seen it do that but I don't use it a ton. What does it look like on the post screen before you submit?

Owo was pretty likeable in that casino episode. The rest of the episode was jive but I was delighted to see Owo actually doing stuff and getting a sense of the character.
