What could possiblye go wrong? It was a genius move. Everyone knows fans have no time for illegible gobbledygook that functions as a deep cut AND a way to operationalize and flex their lore knowledge AND lend their fanfic an extra veneer of legitimacy. Who wants any of THAT? No sane fan...

This was NOT my nickname in high school.

I certainly prefer the figure having it to not having it.

As always, the Covenant of Primus is still such a weirdly-defined kinda-OP (lol) scam. It's a book of prophecies... that I only read once they're plot-relevant! It's a book of prophecies... that I write!

At first I was just salty about missing out on two cool cassettes (I wish Dr. Wu would just make these for the WFC/SS molds already). But damn. I'm not really a G1 guy or a Soundwave guy in particular, but those are both gorgeous. For some stunners like Grimlock and this guy, this line is...

Huh. I was right and wrong about how this was done. That's interesting. It really is the sort of thing that makes more sense if these were four Titan Masters; this might've started out with that plan but got downsized in terms of head design (from transforming to static) and/or size (smaller...

Finally, somewhere other than Botswana.

I don't really see anyone clamoring for any of those "authenticity" bells and whistles. Phazer even made it clear that the very idea (even without any of the conditions of bringing in Toei and DiCola and whatever else that came from Primus knows whose ass) was so unlikely as to just not happen...

Kiss Players would actually be a wild, and appropriate (there's an adjective I never thought I'd use in the same sentence as that line), followup here since it's set right after the movie AND Optimus is right there...

It's not very often that you get a theme song that seems designed by someone pathologically obsessed with REFUSING to let you sing along to it, or to let the melody get any momentum. It's like they had a list of possible effects that could get dropped in to punch up a climactic line and someone...

And all it cost were knees

I'm mixed on the WKB range so far. Obviously they were going to redeco existing molds (even given how much is already shared/reused), and things generally look good (I'm just not feeling the redecos of Frost Saber and Lavamuleta). And it is cool that they at least swap the energy powers around...

I dig that there's a wiki page for that. I'm not sure when it'll be a useful reference for me, but it's cool to have. Less cool to plop it in the middle of a game where that's the entire point.

Huh, right, that IS the IDW altmode for Impactor. The pink/purple one is Roadgrabber's Pretender Vehicle.

Is this our first look at Wheels C04? Also, is that BOT SHOTS Shockwave?

Blokees continues its fun and diverse and occasionally deep-cut exploration of Transformers altmodes in their Wheels series with series C04, which has been listed at different retailers as "Heart of the Ark". A toy store in the Philippines has an open case of these available, which might be one...

I mainly reacted because I'm the moron who brought it up in this thread, lol. But yeah, I did say that was also me not knowing how anything actually works (which is typical of conspiracy think).

Oof, ouch. It's this. I been saying it.

These have all been very good. Tudyk largely made it his own thing, a bit loftier but still approachable. Can never go wrong with Gary Chalk. And I appreciate Kaczmarczyk (Cyberworld) for being a good approximation while still having some personality; the take clearly evokes Cullen's style while...

I still enjoy my fan theory that Paramount knew they weren't going to finish Sonic on time, so they purposely released a crappy take to make people demand that they delay the film,l... all the while secretly having gotten the design right and continuing to work on it (crunch and all sadly)...
