Honestly I agree. My first reaction to Slug is the creature slug. Not shotgun ammo of punching things. And then Strafe is the only name that actually kinda works. While also being funny because of the box art goof.

Both of which actually make that name somewhat work. Slog instead of Sludge doesn’t work as well.

Those are definitely the big ones. And sad. I mean, Slag means molten metal.

I’d say it’s 50/50 on some of them as to whether they realised what the names could mean. Other times? Oh they knew EXACTLY what they were doing. And then there’s Nexus Maximus.

Oh absolutely. If they could do it to Robocop and Rambo. With Toylines for Alien and Terminator. They‘d do it to hellish space sci-fi. I’m honestly surprised they never tried to make a show on Predator.

Now that was a different take on Highlander. Immortal post apocalyptic hero… Quentin God I feel old.
