Thas' a lotta toy for twenty bucks.

Cheaper than a deluxe, lol.

Nope. Fully redone remake with new models, new voice acting/cutscenes and redone orchestral music.

Already, got 1 play test in. Lost. I made some serious misplays because I was trying to understand the flow and mechanics and I basically ran out of creatures. But I find it shockingly strategic. You really have to math and think around your opponent on the fly.

Since I mentioned it I figured I'd share my Pinkie Deck. I haven't had a chance to test it yet, but hopefully can this weekend. Pinkamena Diane Pie cards And what about the poor Gator, flank forever blank? Gummy cards Pinkie's friends Pinkie's gear Event cards Character, story...

Sales or not the current economic situation between tariffs, the war having a major impact on shipping and fuel costs and the skyrocketing prices of chips and ram made this inevitable. Roughly $50 with a 4 month window before it starts is better than the other console manufacturers have managed...

It's $60 physical, $50 digital, USD. So they definitely won't be paying $70. At least not in the States. There's more to it than just the original, how much that entails right now is anyone's guess. We know there are cutscenes and cinematics that are brand new, and it's fully voice acted, we...

I really hope they make that possible. I don't think it's feasible with what's out/announced yet, unfortunately. Found the packs and decks at Target and grabbed the Applejack deck and a couple of packs for my fiance. We pulled the other Fluttershy I was wanting to tech into my Pinkie deck and a...

Yep! It's existing fanbase while adamant, is also not particularly large. This being a remake of arguably the best game in the franchise with modern improvements is CLEARLY an attempt to bring enough people in to actually justify making more games in the franchise. And I hope it works. I hope...

Thank you both. I'm doing better the last week or so. My best friend/sister came to visit at the end of April and when she left to go back to Illinois her absence got to me like a truck and I got real depressed for about a week. Between that and feeling like trying to manage a campaign was too...

I've been collecting for a few months and I'm constantly wowed by the quality of the cards. A tiny bit from the first set in my collection. Didn't want to flip to the back of my binder and grab any from set 2.

Title change/first post edit to reflect focus on TCG

Oh I didn't notice since it was from last year and a page back. We could use this one for just the TCG since that just came out if it is okay, or I could just drop all this into the other thread if we need to keep them consolidated.

As a former YuGiOh/Magic player I'm actually incredibly impressed by the quality of the TCG cards having picked up the Pinkie starter at launch this week. Every card, even the commons, are treated like hits, with texturing, patterns/foiling and new artwork instead of just using screenshots. The...

Well I headed to my lcs for free comic day, grabbed what remained from the piles, since I couldn't get by till just before close and picked up Volume 2 since they had everything 10% off, before grabbing a surprisingly nice little plastic box at a Walmart to keep it all in for like a buck fifty...

I set up a pull list for Absolute Green Arrow. In the process solidified which local shop is going to be my Comic Shop going forward (I'd previously picked up the Absolute Wonder Woman Annual there and been impressed with them) - and realized it's been 15 years since I last actively collected...

My depression came back hard. I'm struggling to do even basic things for myself. I just... don't have anything in the tank for this right now. Sorry guys.

Yeah, DC is really just knocking it out of the park right now, fantastic stuff across the board.

I think a big reason Absolute brought me back to comics, is I've realized I rabbit hole too easily and I can't afford to get into comics with such long standing histories, so Absolute being a new jumping in point - that just happens to hit a basic checklist of my favorite story beats - has me...

I'll see how I feel when I read it, but from what I'm familiar with I think I'll probably still enjoy it. I'll report back in a few weeks
