I vaguely recall Megatron changing size in different alt modes. Mainly the hand mode, where in at least one scene he was big enough to carry all of the Decepticons in vehicle mode, including Scourge's trailer, with room to spare.

I mean, no Transformer with more than two alt modes (and a fair number with more than one, even leaving out Cybertronian modes) actually looks like anything in most of them, so he doesn't really stand out much in that company.
