  1. Ollies Bargin Outlet..anything good?

I've also found Beast Wars Reissue Scorponok for $10
  2. Transformers Legacy toyline

Sadly, the Nemesis Bridge set is probably STILL a cheaper venue in getting Earth Soundwave and Laserbeak than trying to get the Netflix set. And the other two probably won't be too bad (albeit, losing Shockwave's awesome upgrade geebles). With the number of Coronation sets popping up at Ollies...

He also posted a rather compelling image with Terrorcon Cliffjumper, showing a possible retool path for Chase (Prime Cliffjumper, not necessarily the Terrorcon version).
  4. G.I. Joe thread - Yo Jo June 2026: Hooded Cobra Commander and others

I think Ollies must source inventory on more regional levels. I WISH I had seen a Slaughter or 3.75 Joe stuff. All I found at mine was a pile of Lady Jaye at $12.99 and a pile of movie Classified for $4.99. Given the relative lack of Joe stuff compared to other brands, I’m inclined to say...
  5. Marvel Toy Thread

Toy Fair is this weekend! Nothing new for collectors (that’s what Pulsecon was for), but Steve Evans, of Hasbro, has posted a preview of the 2024 Avengers Epic Heroes line. Notable is the return of blister packs (!), return to a general “Avengers” theming, and expansion to multiple deluxe...
  6. Castlevania

“Created by” sounds more prestigious than “adapted by”. Heck, Konami hardly gets a mention in the credits! All told, I think the season was, broadly, more consistent than the prior Castlevania series, on a per season basis. And consistently good at that. The big thing that stood out to me...
  7. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

At a nearby Ross, I saw Origins Stridors for $5 Meanwhile, at Walmart next door, they remain $33.
  8. Transformers Legacy toyline

Must be new toy week, saw the newest wave of Deluxes at Target today, along with Studio Series Voyager Rhinox and Gamer Megatron. Like a dweeb, I got the Beast Combiners Optimus Prime instead of the new Legacy stuff.
  9. Transformers Legacy toyline

That’s what I was thinking when that idea was first mentioned. I feel like, if Hasbro is going to dip into the well of unmade designs, there are PLENTY more compelling than the Animated Powermaster concept. Everything from Transtech, to unmade show characters (especially RiD15’s Decepticons)...
  10. Mayhem Transformers Discussion: Missing Link? Is this The Wand of Gamelon?

Since when has double dipping been a concern for Hasbro? The only reason Hot Shot got a minicon was because he was packed in a premium package with extras and a corresponding price increase. Armada Galvatron will be a simple repaint.
  11. Transformers Legacy toyline

I’m sure someone will correct me, but isn’t United Wave 1 the first time in years (at least since the whole Themed year thing) that G1 has had NO representation across the ENTIRE product range of a given wave? Core, Deluxe, Voyager, Leader, there are NO G1, or G1-adjacent (like comic iterations)...
  12. G.I. Joe thread - Yo Jo June 2026: Hooded Cobra Commander and others

To be fair, Hasbro HAS been pretty good on ensuring stuff gets rereleased. At the very least, as a Non-vintage character, I expect Shadow Tracker to be easy(er) to get than most. The lack of XCom mention is saddening.
  13. Transformers Legacy toyline

I’m calling it now: The reason for the Thundertron Leader listing is because it’s going to be a repeat of the Kingdom Spoiler set with Megatron. We’ll get a slightly redeco’d Thundertron (maybe a GO Prime deco?) with one of the Armorizers in bronze/gold coloring And maybe some “golden Energon...
  14. Hasbro PulseCon 2023, Hosted by Dan Larson & Thew Adams

I’m still holding out on the idea that Hasbro’s going to, eventually, do an Animated Optimus with Face plate and all those geebles in some form. Be it a Selects or Con exclusive, I firmly believe Hasbro’s got something like that cooking.
  15. Transformers Legacy toyline

The “confirmed, but not” Galvatron redeco should be interesting. Hasbro and Takara deviated a bit more noticeably on that front, so it will be interesting to see which compromises and priorities they make. The original figures also had a more varied deco, so it will also be interesting to see...
  16. Hasbro PulseCon 2023, Hosted by Dan Larson & Thew Adams

Looking closer, you’re right. I didn’t look close enough and with the lighting he sure looked a bit like an off-model Cheetor. Oh well. My other statements remain :p
  17. Transformers Legacy toyline

This. I’ve seen collectors suck the fun out of SO MANY toy lines, focusing on excessive articulation and details that are, ultimately, detrimental to other aspects of the product. I’m THRILLED that Transformers is still in a position where the collector line is still allowed to be FUN, even if...
  18. Hasbro PulseCon 2023, Hosted by Dan Larson & Thew Adams

I see a Cheetor peaking out above Energon Megatron in the art! A solid set of reveals, all told. And the rumored items list is indicating some more good stuff on the way. I dig the angle on the Armorizors. There are some neat conceptual elements with the Rock Lords homage, but also playing...
  19. Hasbro PulseCon 2023, Hosted by Dan Larson & Thew Adams

After seeing the live action Devastator get produced the way it did? G1 Devastator is popular enough I don’t see Hasbro “gating” him behind a HasLab. Cybertron is a safe option, but there are deep cuts like Grandus or Grand Mal Megatron that might be options. Given the freedom crowdsourcing...
  20. Hasbro PulseCon 2023, Hosted by Dan Larson & Thew Adams

I still think Hasbro is leaving money on the table by not doing a “Epic Heroes” product line for Star Wars. If nothing else, the status of the “kids stuff” will be more interesting since Mission Fleet appears to be puttering out. I saw a LOT of recently released Mission Fleet stuff at Ollies...
