Not sure the guy formerly in charge of Wizards of the Coast is being the new CEO fills me with confidence, but we'll see I guess.

I really want to see a RPG system that tries to incorporate the tech spec numbers as player stats. I.E. Instead of D&D where it's Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma, you'd have Strength, Intelligence, Speed, Endurance, Rank, Courage, Firepowerblast and Skill.

I would be shocked if they kept IDW's continuity. Though I'd be shocked if they wound up doing anything but an early G1 inspired take on things like how Dreamwave and IDW started. Cast of the popular characters fighting the war on earth.

Very anecdotal, but the only two pieces of transformers media I had permanent access to growing up was a copy of the movie taped off of HBO (thanks mom!) and a FHE tape of Fire in the Sky. I probably have the soundscape of that episode permently emblazoned upon my brain.

Skyfire was a prominant character in S1 of the cartoon, getting a whole episode about himself, which IIRC, only the Dinobots and Constructicons got that kind of focus in that season.

IDW2 is only a couple years old so I'd prefer not rebooting already. Also I don't even know what you would do with a new series. It'd obvious be G1 focused (I'm not going to kid myself) but I feel like IDW2 was a decent compromise in starting with the beginning of the war instead of starting...
