IDW reprinted the old Marvel comics, so maybe whoever gets the license next will finish off the IDW hardcovers. It's a longshot though, IDW didn't do big collections of any of the Dreamwave stuff.
Yeah, I'm out after IDW2 ends.
Are there any alternatives to Comixology or did Amazon just basically trash the entire comics industry in one fell move?
If it's $90, but doesn't have the costly licensing fee attached since Hasbro owns GI Joe, then we're probably looking at a Commander Class figure, at which point I would be shocked if it couldn't seat at least one Joe/Cobra. We had legends figures that all had seats for Titanmasters, after...
Man, is something up with Bigbadtoystore? I ordered Tigatron and Waspinator around the end of September and while Waspinator showed up in my pile of loot two months later, still no Tigatron and I have like 9 days before that Waspy has to ship. Meanwhile Hasbro pulse has both of them in stock...
I initially thought Hasbro just didn't have faith in a mainline toy with a cassette deck alt-mode in the year 2020, but we got a boombox Blaster, so that can't be it.
Yeah, Phase 2 really put a lot of effort into picking up the pieces left from Phase 1. It's nice in an industry that often treats continuity as a burden on creativity and not a tool to paint with.
Well, Dreamwave only had a license for a few years. (ANd, uh, didn't produce the best quality stuff.) so that's not quite the same as a company that's held the IP for like 15 years now. (And while IDW2 isn't the same as IDW1, they did carry over a lot of ideas and flavor)
Honestly, the thing...
I'll always wonder where the reboot story would have gone if they had had a decade to play with instead of 3.5 years, but at least this is known early enough that we might get some kind of conclusion.
Not sure what the next guys are going to be able to offer to get me interested, but I'll...
That Igaunus is genuinely impressive.
I'd be 100% down on Skywarp if they hadn't 86'd his arm guns. Now I'm probably going to have to buy a $10 third party accessory pack for my $10 toy. Great.
Main book will likely deal with teh Bots vs Cons arc while Wars End deals Exarchon, the namesake of the War of the Threefold Spark, which supposedly ended with his death but since he's still alive, that war ain't over.
With any luck, we'll see that, the Hexen II expansion, and Heretic II made available. I'd add in Enemy Territory: Quake Wars but that's a MP only game and I doubt it has much of a player base anymore.
Nah, Microsoft is already sitting on a treasure trove of IP that's lying around unused because there's only so many games their people can work on. They don't need IP. they need people to make the games.
Specifically what they need is content. Content for Gamepass. Old games are good (Play...
It's a shame they didn't go with the detachable limbs that SS Kup had. IIRC, there was a unlicensed set of Junkions that all had teh same transformation style, but their parts were interchangable so you could create a lot of unique looks.
Unions dont need the permission of their employers to form. There'd be no unions otherwise. :D
Also the reason it doesn't include artists and writers is because Image only employs those positions as "freelance", and US law prohibits them from participating in collective bargaining.
As for...
Image just unionized, so that might have an effect in the discussions Skybound is having with Hasbro, though I doubt it changes anything in the long run.
