People aren't liking the price of Sideways, but I get it. The price is the compromise. The design has no compromises. It's Armada with modern articulation, without sacrificing the gimmicks.

I'm so impressed. Third parties ruined combiners with the lazy frame approach, and people defended it saying the benefits outweighed the laziness. Takara is showing that you can keep the benefits and take the laziness out of it.

It does look like the best frame yet. It's not what I want in a combiner, but it is what I want in a combiner if they have to be this type. They gave Onslaught his base mode back! I liked when combiner torsos had those. It's not in the toon but it's fun.
I am okay with this. I understand that Generations is going to do what Generations is going to do, but the next time we get combiners in a new thing (like we got a Menasor in RID15) I would love to see vehicle scale Bruticus with some nutty Magnaboss/Tripredacus type combination that uses...
They could have attached the same way the shoulders attach to each other. The attachment point would be reversed on one of the launchers. This would also mean the launchers could attach to each other, for whatever that's worth. Maybe they could have stuck some seats on them and called it another...
