Random Thoughts From Out of Nowhere

I have the Blazar Blu Ray set, I need to get around to watching that. This might just move it to the top of the list!

Random Thoughts From Out of Nowhere

Yeah, kaiju attacks are generally seasonal, while superheroes are more year-round. Plus, you generally have at least some warning a kaiju is coming and can potentially evacuate, so while they would both likely be expensive, I would say the superhero insurance would be more expensive.

Transformers CyberWorld: Optimus STILL Hates Spiders

So, apparently I need to get some of those stands for posing figures in the air... "Airachnid, practically evil in every way." "Supercallinarcolepticextrahalitosis..." Meanwhile, a distracted Megatron catches a hoof on a piece of flint and goes off like a big furry grenade...KaBoom!

Airachnid is out at Target, got mine today! She shares a transformation with Chop Shop, but very few parts, if any. There's even molded-in detail on a part that could have been the same, but isn't! Technically, the instructions don't have the spider legs rotated on the arms, but I feel like it...

Transformers: Age of the Primes Thread: ll First Post All Listings II Update : April 12th, 2027 Bonus Wave: Repaint fun, Beast Wars, G2, Machine Wars

If the current Cyberworld figures had just a little bit more articulation, they would practically be a modern era Machine Wars. Seriously, though, Deluxe-scale-based figures have been the gold standard for collectors for so long now that its understandable that fans would want updates of some...

The Kaiju Thread of Building-Smashing, Flame-Breathing, and Slam-Dunking

Nice! Thanks to a helpful coworker, I have a few of the individual cans, but didn't get the 99-pack. Really want the PBR store display that went with that promotion! On a similar note, Godzilla and C4 energy drinks had a promotional flavor. And tangentially, I wish I had gotten my hands on the...

I was around 10 when we moved to Omaha, Nebraska in the early 90s and got to experience KB Toys for the first time at the Crossroads Mall. The Toys R US was a few blocks away in its own building. All 3 are gone, now, but they were still there in the early 2000s when I started collecting as a...

I'm excited for the individual Breastforce and their little animal buddies! I'm honestly kind of ambivalent about Liokaiser; I may combine them once to say that I did, and then leave them in their individual forms.

Quite possible. When I found the dinos in the thrift store, I tried to find out what they were and came up with a couple strange off-brand sets with russian-sounding names. I'm pretty sure these were sold somewhere in the world previously and are just being sold in the USA in a different...

Random Thoughts From Out of Nowhere

Heheh...I had an employee named Mark, and I often handed him assignments printed off our company task manager. Whenever he asked why I didn't have someone else do it, I always told him "It says right at the bottom, Mark Complete!"

    THE KNOCK OFF TRANSFORMERS THREAD

Oddly, the wrapping says "Series 2", but the product guide says "Series 1". One side seems to indicate 12 different figures, but the other side has many more styles and colors. There is also indication in the instructions that some of these figures can combine.

A lot of the head sculpts seem strangely familiar. Pretty sure the electric t-rex is based on Optimus Prime, while a couple other take cues from Grimlock:
