    THE KNOCK OFF TRANSFORMERS THREAD

Clearly, you've been let down by the education system. This calls for an immediate binge-watch of Voltron and MMPR!

    HasLab 2025: Liokaiser

I'm not sure how much I want Deathcobra as a cannon. I kinda just want him as Deathcobra. Might combine the set sometimes, but I mostly bought in for the individual dudes and their little animal buddies. If I need Liokaiser for a display, I'll probably use the CW-style Destron set for that.

Books, novels, literature, what have you read lately?

Voices In The Night: Rare Stories by William Hope Hodgson A collection of short stories, most with a nautical background. Easy to read in short bursts, many of these have a fantastical or even almost eldritch element to them. What got me interested was the Voice in the Night short story, which...

Gobots and Machine Robo News & Discussion

Yeah, as someone who (since 2001-ish) considers himself a Gobot collector who also collects Transformers, I've certainly seen the general attitude among fans shift more positively in favor of Gobots, but there are still those out there who feel like they can trash on Gobots.

Toys That Didn't Survive Our Childhoods...

Oh, wow, what to list? I'm the oldest of 8 kids (20 year span between me and my youngest brother), and most of our childhood toys got passed down and played with hard. Virtually none of my toys survived intact, if at all, although I eventually got pretty good at fixing them when I could. My...

    HasLab 2025: Liokaiser

Not to ruin the lyric vibe of the thread, but we've seen a lot of Victory in HasLab, haven't we? We got Galaxy Shuttle in a capsule line, Dinoking in Selects, Greatshot in Legends, and a couple of Black Shadows at retail over the years. Victory Sabre and Deathsaurus were HasLabs (along with the...

    HasLab 2025: Liokaiser

This would be the kind of thing I would really consider supporting, depending on the price ($200ish is doable if I really want something, $500 would be an automatic "Cool, but Nope") I know I am a vocal(-ish?) minority, but I would also (very probably) be compelled to back any Gobots-based...

    HasLab 2025: Liokaiser

Liokaiser is my first and so far only Haslab. I have an irrational love for the Breastforce, the CW Destron version was missing 2 members, and the Deathcobra unlock sealed the deal. That said, unless the next Haslab is something Gobots-related, I am probably out for the foreseeable future. It's...

New Authentics product -- Mini Bot Racers, masks, Cyber Battlers

I mean, McDonalds is literally doing working Changeables right now, so it seems like simple transformations in kids meal toys are still viable. That said, how complicated do Burger King toys ever get? (As an aside, the Changeables have made me wish for a new version of Wendy's Gobots, and of...

    The Repaint Concept Thread

Grimlock--> Red Ranger Snarl--> Blue Ranger Swoop--> Pink Ranger Sludge--> Black Ranger (sorta close...?) Snarl--> Yellow Ranger (by default) and I guess that leaves Trypticon for the Green Ranger? (a Dinobot Trypticon would be cool, too)

    The Repaint Concept Thread

Maybe not, but looking at this, maybe there should have been? On a similar note, has anyone digibashed the Dinobots into Sentai colors?

Random Thoughts From Out of Nowhere

I know a lot of people who buy physical media, but they buy used at thrift shops, so maybe the numbers are skewed that way? IDK about younger generations, but I prefer physical media. CDs, DVDs, or Blu Ray are my preferred formats, but i know several who collect and watch VHS. Streaming has its...

Random Thoughts From Out of Nowhere

I worked in auto repair since I was 15, and, yeah, a watch would be a liability. Haven't turned a wrench professionally for at least 13 years (since I got into selling auto parts), but I still don't wear a watch, despite being gifted several over the years. It's also why I rarely wear ball caps...

For those interested, Amazon has a listing up for an Ultraman Great and Ultraman Powered Blu Ray release from Mill Creek. No image yet, it says Currently Unavailable, but with a release date of May 12, 2026, so hopefully a preorder will go up soon. Says English language, but also with subtitles...
