Got my Macross Prime in. I'll be doing the full thought dump/review in the usual thread, but man I am underwhelmed. It's fiddly, over-engineered and has weird proportions.
It's definitely got Macross in it.

Swindle probably wouldn't have been revealed if they didn't need to market Onslaught/the Bruticus frame. Otherwise, he'd stay unknown like his wavemates who haven't been shown yet.
I might go for the IDW stuff but I dunno, that ship's mostly sailed for me and upon revisits, the MTMTE/RID era designs don't do much for me.

They've done so many muscle car movie bumblebees and all that really changes is is vehicle kibble, so you'd expect them to be great at it by now. What the hell happened to those shins?
It’s not even bad as we usually define it. It fits together well and designed to do its function properly. It’s just that its function is to be a flat platform.
