I'm surprised Atomic Arcade wasn't shuttered earlier. Not like this is the fourth or so time that Hasbro dumped millions into a gaming initiative and end up dumping a few years later...
No official announcement as of yet, but developers are posting on LinkedIn that Hasbro/WotC has decided to end development of the long gestating AAA Snake Eyes game and shutter its developer, Atomic Arcade.

And in package sample of the SkeleKnight Core figure was on hand at Toy Fair, and Retro Toy Escapades managed to snap a pic of the backside. In addition to confirming Skeletor and SkeleKnight as "wave 2", the cardback gives us our first look at the film version of Mekaneck, confirming his cameo...
Rather than bump the old Gobots thread, I figure this is worth its own thread. Tubi TV, the ad-supported streaming company, scored a MASSIVE agreement with Warner Bros Discovery for content. While there have been a number of select series already available, like assorted Scooby Doo series, and...
It’s really hard to tell if Hasbro didn’t show anything new for the kids segment…or fan sites were just all focused on taking a bajillion images of the same stuff Hasbro has already sent a bajillion images of. I was especially curious how Hasbro is going to handle the new Marvel films, if we’ll...
Just for some clarification due to mis-naming: the upcoming Walmart exclusive is a DIRE Tech equipped Night CREEPER, not VIPER, as erroneously reported. So I guess this means we can add ghost/zombie ninjas to the wackiness being offered this year?

Collector premium. Not even being facetious. While there is a minor argument to be made that Origins are bulkier figures with more accessories and a bit more deco (on the average)…much of it DOES come down to companies like Mattel and Hasbro knowing they can leverage fan nostalgia to charge a...
Like with Masters of the Universe, Mattel has REALLY stepped up on their “kids” product. In the case of the DC stuff, I’d argue I’d almost prefer lesser articulation if it would get the price down a few bucks. I’m still amused to see “accessory sprues” back in vogue among toy companies :p...
Pixel Dan was present during a Mattel presentation for new MOTU product. Nothing new shown, and I don’t expect any big announcements until later on. I would be utterly shocked if they didn’t have a Grayskull playset and additional Core figures (much less Chronicles) on deck for fall roll...
According to the Playmates rep speaking with Pixel Dan, the same issue is happening with the White Tigerzord and other White Ranger merch. I think Playmates is trying to get a retail program together with a partner for White Ranger stuff.
Guess we’ll see what happens with that.
So we got new characters, a wide spectrum pull of characters from across GI Joe’s history, and they opted to decorate the showroom, in the year of our lord 2026, with Ninja Force Zartan, Battle Armor Cobra Commander and 91 Snake Eyes.
Lord, I love this GI Joe brand team.
I just recall there really didn’t seem to be many, if ANY, sightings of Mirage at an appreciable number of Walmart stores, despite being an exclusive like the Ultimate CyberChanger Megatron. For an exclusive of a show character, it seemed odd that his exposure has been so limited.
Shout out...
Technically, Star Eagle should be under this section as well being a Crossover with the 250th Anniversary of the US of A. He’s a Walmart exclusive.

Also shown at Toy Fair was a soccer/football Orion Pax named Breakaway

Some details on new Joe stuff, for clarification:
-Professor RottClaw and the Paleo Viper are part of a single release. It will be a deluxe figure with multiple heads/accessories.
-February 17 will be preorder day for the next main line wave (Overkill, Sundown, Dawn Moreno, Airtight...
TLS is at Toy Fair, Toyark got a nice spread of images from the MASK and Jem display. For MASK, they ARE showing off the 40th Anniversary offerings (which I’m still waiting on my Condor…) in hand. Wave 2 is represented by what appear to be Vintage versions of the planned wave. And they are...
Boys, hold on to your butts…we got Cowboys and Dinosaurs a comin’!
https://toynewsi.com/278-61879
The new Cowboy figure previewed a couple weeks back is a new character named Sundown (yes, the COPS N Crooks Texas Rangers sported that name, but the figure looks more like Overwatch’s McCree)...
Just a general note:
Hasbro still has a wave of product for this spring, which includes Airrachnid and Optimus Primal. So there might be some figures coming soon that aren’t being shown because Hasbro is focusing on the fall refresh (and the fancy Energon armor gimmick). Listings also...
