  1. Transformers: Age of the Primes Thread: ll First Post All Listings II Update : April 12th, 2027 Bonus Wave: Repaint fun, Beast Wars, G2, Machine Wars

Living in podunk midwest, USA, my town only had a Jacks (department/discount store) with a MODEST toy section. KB was in a mall 30 minutes away. I can count on a single hand the number of times I actually managed to visit a Toys R Us in my life, since the closest was almost 2 and a half hours...
  2. Ninja Turtles - Cowabunga!

For you Alopex fans...the character is being added to TMNT Splintered Fate as the newest DLC character:
  3. Transformers: Age of the Primes Thread: ll First Post All Listings II Update : April 12th, 2027 Bonus Wave: Repaint fun, Beast Wars, G2, Machine Wars

The KB reference will be a 10+% premium over typical mass retail items with crap distribution. :p
  4. Transformers: Age of the Primes Thread: ll First Post All Listings II Update : April 12th, 2027 Bonus Wave: Repaint fun, Beast Wars, G2, Machine Wars

Filling out the limbs wouldn't be hard either: Turbo and Baron Von Joy can be derived from Stunticons, and the Aerialbots already have F-15 and F-16 designs for Leader 1 and Sky Knight. Actually might make for a nice little capsule, even.
  5. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

Hey, I heard you guys are fans of spooky, scary, skelly-tons…So how about this one? Reportedly, a fan was sent this by Mattel Customer Service when their Masterverse figure was broken in package. Given the options of “refund or replace with Chronicles”, replacement was chosen and the individual...
  6. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

Well, this is interesting: Found at Walmart was something listed as “Core Gold” on retail shelves. Verified by Toy Habits as NOT being any sort of AI creation or hoax, the toy is a new Skeletor toy (in mini-comic esque purple and gold), sporting a retro design. Packaging is also a unique retro...
  7. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

Retail listings from Amazon Mexico indicate that Man At Arms and Trap Jaw are slated for the Core line. If the rest of the assortment isn’t repacks, presumably these two would be joined by a 3rd wave mate. I’m leaning towards Roboto, myself, though I wouldn’t past them to do a “Adam Glenn”...
  8. Hasbr-uh-oh - Business and Tariffs Discussion

It’s the tariffs that never end, it goes on and on my friend… A day after announcing a global 10% tariff, Trump has increased it to 15%. Which is still FAR better than rates prior to the Supreme Court’s decision...
  9. Studio Series discussion

The chaos gremlin within kind of wants Hasbro to add G2 to Studio Series and use screencaps of the janky CGI used in the original commercials.
  10. Transformers: Age of the Primes Thread: ll First Post All Listings II Update : April 12th, 2027 Bonus Wave: Repaint fun, Beast Wars, G2, Machine Wars

The only reason I’m disappointed in a Megazarak is because I think the deco is pretty nifty, am on a budget crunch this year, and I fear he’ll end up another tail end Charlie like what happened with Legacy Dreadwing. But I already got Galvatron (AND for less than $20!) so it may just be prudent...
  11. Mayhem Transformers Discussion: Missing Link? Is this The Wand of Gamelon?

https://news.tfw2005.com/2026/02/18/flame-toys-furai-action-windblade-arcee-new-images-preorders-live-556656 They got dem CHEEKS! *Ahem*
  12. Cartoon Network returns…on Tubi TV! March 1st!

HBO Max is also a subscription service with people paying to offset maintenance costs. But we're also starting to see pushback to subscriptions as more and more gatekeeping occurred. For a while, WBD was going to launch their own "Pluto" which would have featured their own library content...
  13. Upcoming Live-Action Film Rumors

Steve Jablonksy's score is also pretty top tier. Better than the AoE soundtrack. All things considered, Jablonsky's musical work is probably the one, consistently, good to superb elements of the entire film franchise.
  14. Cartoon Network returns…on Tubi TV! March 1st!

Running your own service cost time and money. License stuff out? "Free" money! I suspect that mentality is why the WBTV "FAST" service has been DOA since announcement a couple years ago: it's just easier and cheaper (with better returns) to just license the content and the content streams to...
  15. Studio Series discussion

There are more visually interesting 5th or 6th gen fighters, from the Su-57, the J-20, or 6th gen concepts like the F/A-XX. More specifically, the UNITED STATES auto industry is boring. To be fair though, Transformers tends to skew towards high end sports and specialty vehicles that aren't the...
  16. Studio Series discussion

You mean besides the F-35 being an unstylish bore?
  17. Studio Series discussion

To be fair, that was when Hasbro was willing to compromise on the base design and wasn’t completely restricted to replicating prior (often, ”reality challenged”) designs from decades ago. I’ll probably die on the hill that Hasbro made better products when they weren’t “restricted” to recreating...
  18. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

MOTU Core Battlecat in package images. He might not have as fancy a deco, or the fancy articulation...but does your Chronicles or Masterverse Battlecat chomp and roar? I thought not https://toynewsi.com/241-61933
  19. G.I. Joe thread - Yo Jo June 2026: Hooded Cobra Commander and others

BBTS's house brand, Soldiers of Fortune, has a new figure available called "The Agent: The Enemy" sporting a striking hooded mask look. Y'know, for those who want the leader of their "evil terrorist organization determined to rule the world" to have some wardrobe options ;)...
  20. Hasbr-uh-oh - Business and Tariffs Discussion

AKA, the GI Joe version of Grimlock :p Given my timing with Joe, my "core guys" were Duke, Falcon, Stalker, Rock 'N Roll, Scoop with Recoil playing stand in for Lifeline.
