:::GSOs screaming echoes as he disappears downwards. Followed by a crash. Then bangs and more screams. Though more monstrous. Then the sound of a chainsaw:::
I’m still alive! Mostly.

I guess it depends which Static. Young means drunk grumpy fighter Wolverine :). Old means drunk grumpy observer of fights :).
Who still fights. And drinks.
Also, the fridge is dead… and I think the basement to hell is gone too.
“We’re just as cool as Abominus, right guys?”
Goofy monsters wanting to be edgy. I mean, the TF wiki description really leans into The hamminess of him being some mythical eldritch abomination.
Plus, they’re just the Pretender Monsters. No team name. I love it.
I never got Volcanicus. I missed Dinoking. But this? I am very tempted indeed!
Also, that really is a lot of retooling for a third release of this set, for a character whose biggest claims to fame are looking cool and what IDW comics did with him.
Kranix existing is crazy. Kranix turning out this good? Now that’s impressive. New Astrotrain makes me glad I only ever got the Galaxy Shuttle version of the Stege mold. Skywarp is a must buy for me. I have Thundercracker on the way soon. So I need the Seekers.
I may get Shockwave, somi have a...
This guy might well by the best one of the 13 figures IMO. Even eclipsing my nostalgic attachment to The Fallen. Plus, he’s got a lot of play value and ways to display.
The throne option is great!
it is a shame that the only Conclusion to G2 we got other than the cliffhanger, is Forman’s...
The more images I see of Liege, the better he looks. Between him, Onyx and The Fallen, it’s hard to pick the best, but they are probably my top 3 favourites of the 13.
Also, even Liege’s spaceship mode makes me think of Fifth Element. On top of his ZF-1 gun.
And now I’m just imagining him...
Powerglide…Yes!
Cliffy… Maybe?
Ratchet… Definitely. Though this Ratchet sure has a more chiselled face, rather than puffy old bot. I like, he’ll go nicely with Prime, Bee and Prowl.
Swerve… Maybe? Looks fine as a Swerve.
Dangit! I realised my mistake about 5 minutes ago. He’s RID15, not Cyberverse. I think my brain was already on Alchemist/Maccadam in Cyberverse an….. got my wires crossed. :)
If we take all the 13 Primes we’ve seen and handled. They have all tried very hard to be, reference, or at least homage, past depictions. To varying degrees of success and YMMV.
Prima: Takes elements from FFoD and tries to be an ancient warrior. Very utilitarian alt,ode since he is ‘The First...
I mean interesting in the sense of seeing how they explain this.
I so agree that any other form of combiner would have been a good option. Just so long as it was Nexus splitting into components. As is, he’s one guy who can Jack any other bots he wants, whether it makes sense or not. :)
And therein lies the rub. Trying to do all 13 Primes while fitting into all the classes. While also having obviously already planning Devastator, Superion and Bruticus. Along with all theit accompanying limbs. Thus, fitting Nexus in as a Voyager torso bot without the extra personalised frame is...
Like I said, the concept is good. The execution is… awkward. The combination is fun if mismatched by design. And, honestly, with a dedicated team and frame, this could look good.
Also, kudos to Mark for revealing this as fast as he did.
