Masterforce is easily my favorite of the Japanese TF shows. It just has better pacing, better writing, and better characterization than any of the others.
The first time I watched an episode or 2 years ago I came away thinking: "This feels to me like the 80s Transformers Cartoon and the G.I...
I agree it's one of the big holes in Legacy IMO. I don't need everyone from the show, but a show design Jetstorm (non-existent outside of McDonalds) a Botanica and Core Class Nightscream would be great representation and fill in some big collection holes.
-ZacWilliam, I'd also love to ask for...
any Optimus Prime based variant is popular in all of Transformers in general. And Lio Convoy/Leo Prime has had a good number of US releases, back to the original toy being sold by Hasbro online.
-ZacWilliam, and Legacy is about celebrating the whole history of TFs so his popularity isn't really...
Got a notice that my Metalhawk and SS Rumble are shipping from Amazon. A little more notice would have been better since I wanted to switch them over to a gift card but still cool.
-ZacWilliam, much as I'm looking forward to Crashbar and Sheappnel I hope I have a little time before Amazon gets...
So "Jojo the Dogfaced Boy" and Francis for "Frank" I could see that.
What molds though?
Weirdwolf with a new wolffy robot head I could see.
-ZacWilliam, Franky is less immediately obvious...
Transformers: Undercover City.
The theme is to focus on disguises in a city setting. Give us some vehicle types that would be cool but that we havnt gotten before:
All new Characters.
Skids mold as a Postal Truck
Crankcase remold as a Pizza Delivery vehicle.
Ironhide as a Catering Van...
So the Product Blurb says:
TOXITRON COLLECTION: A collection of Transformers robots has risen out of the Toxic Sludge Swamps of Cybertron! Toxitron is unleashing radioactive mayhem with a team of toxic warriors
So how do folks imagine this works? Are all these neon robots Toxitron's toxic...
Because they're G2 Grimlock and Jazz and as far as we know they we're always intended to be.
-ZacWilliam, if there had been alternate names on the unused designs they likely would have gone with those like they did with Sandstorm.
I really want the Alley Viper redecorate to be V2 but I feel that would need at least a bit (maybe more) remolding.
-ZacWilliam, just played a ton with the yellow and black Dragon masked version as a kid.
Yeah one good Core Sideswipe could create a ton of Go-Bots and Spychangers. That would be a really good use of Core honestly.
-ZacWilliam, course then I would want all the other Spychangers at Core which would have harder molds to get out of G1 guys...
Everything I've seen of this looks really fun and very Dnd.
I don't get to the theater much since Covid and my daughter being too young for everything but Disney toons, but I want to see this if I can.
-ZacWilliam, I need more go-to Baby-sitting nearby...
I wonder what the odds are of Japan doing a webcomic for these guys like they did the Velocitron figures.
That story was the best most-fun part of that sub-line. Especially since Hasbro isn't giving toy lines even minimal fiction set-ups anymore.
-ZacWilliam, I want to learn about the...
Looks more like Paladin to me.
Which is a shame cause Thrash would be a good bit cooler.
-ZacWilliam, still an awesome shot. I know it wasn't scripted but this should absolutely be the Avengers and/or Defenders line up for this Universe.
Got my dining room back after a month (it's been hosting a foster dog that finally got adopted today) and I decided to use the space to pull out my Modern 1988 figures:
The Cons are pretty good, need the Small Headmasters, Firecons and the rest of the Triggercons and Pretenders. Autobots are a...
I'm fine with them doing the Diaclone but I don't care about them or think they look cool enough to want them just on aesthetic grounds so I hope the finish the Deluxe Insecticons first.
-ZacWilliam, love me the Deluxe Insecticons.
