Prime and Barricade look really good.
Bumblebee looks awful. The whole middle of the figure is an off model, awkward looking mess.
-ZacWilliam, honestly these were great games but the designs were always my least favorite thing about them so this whole "subline" is an easy pass for me.
Through episode 17 came out on Paramount + last Friday.
-ZacWilliam, so it was a 7 episode drop. As if syndication were still a thing and they showed a week of new episodes I guess...
That was my main take away from the final 2-parter of this drop:
I want the entire family of Maltobots.
-ZacWilliam, hopefully in rough scale to the size they are in the show.
She's goth colors. That's the lipstick that looks good on her.
Zacwilliam, with all the Female Seekers in modern cartoons I hope we get a Generations lady seeker soon.
Oh yeah, when my son was younger the Armada toys were my Go-To to let him play with some of my stuff. They're way less fragile than most things since and though they're less articulated they are solid and simple in a way that makes for better kid play.
-ZacWilliam, a portion of adult fandom...
You have a really weird idea of where MotU is right now.
You have a an extremely optimistic concept of where a 40 year old cartoon that was primitive and simplistic at the time would rate with modern kids.
It's cool to like and love what you like and love for nostalgia but you're imagining...
Burned through the rest of the drop. Thoughts.
Looking forward to the next third of the season a lot.
-ZacWilliam, Hoping Breakdown makes it back someday in one piece...
Just watched the first 3 Episodes of the new drop (Season 1 Part 2) and they were REALLY good. One episode focusing on each of the new Maltobots from the end of the last group.
-ZacWilliam, off to watch some more eps before lunch.
It's not.
Seige was just loosely inspired by the idea of alien vehicles.
Buzzworthy is exactly the cartoon designs in the cartoon style as closely as physically possible.
-ZacWilliam, they are very different design philosophies/approaches to a similar goal.
"We are telling our own story with the characters we choose not slavishly serving up the exact pieces of a really old cartoon?"
-ZacWilliam, I mean they're semi-doing that now, but slowly, as sort of a limited side course apart from the main line.
I really really want him. G1 Omega Supreme is one of my all time favorite toys/characters. The Guardian robot toy has one of my absolute favorite color schemes: Love blue, white and soft grey together. The E-Hobby version of this is one of my holly grails of toys I would like to own but I've...
Background character with no lines.
Would not be surprised if ALL the maximals outside of Primal are.
-ZacWilliam, who wants their robots to be characters with personality?
I'd like a Powermaster Prime that looked like the Comic design. He used the body most there and that head is pretty distinct.
-ZacWilliam, corse I also would like a Comic scale Fort Max and Scorponok
The most recent time for me was Beastbox White Noise.

I've wanted to try Beast Box for a few years and he was my first time actually going for it and damn is he awesome.
The transformation is complex and...
These pictures kinda turned me around on these guys.
Sludge looked so awful it turned me off on the whole concept of these guys, Slag was a little better but not enough to counter the Sludge factor and then Grimlock's dino mode looking terrible... I felt like that cemented me on skipping...
no.
The Dinobot Combiner is a pre mold of Dinoking. This necessitates 6 Dinobots. All the original altmodes plus an Ankylosaur.
Skar was a Dinobot in IDW. They changed it to Scarr here to differentiate him from the Powermaster Partner likely.
-ZacWilliam, stunned that Swoop is the first Core...
