Maybe I’ll finally have a generations Bumblebee. I hated the partforming on the last one and the Classics is very noticeably gigantic next to the generations cast.
Even the Titan who had exposed hands tried to fold them up to be less obvious and opened the shins up. I understand that a toy the size of a 7-year old is unwieldy but surely you can hide the hands at that size.
They developed a release that's noncompliant to their entire pricing structure just to get a minicon out, so they're aware of the demand for them. I don't see why they wouldn't be able to squeeze one into a hypothetical commander class item that's not particularly large or complex. If they...
Jetfire isn’t all that complex but I’d probably put him closer to commander than Leader in terms of plastic mass. Armada Optimus’s trailer is pretty sizeable and Jetfire would be a similar size on top of transformation and robot joints in the mix as well. He also has to set aside plastic for the...
Tidal Wave would probably be a Leader or maybe commander at most. He has to attach to Armada Megatron and IIRC, Megatron already has some future-proofed attachment engineering going on.
god i hate working with this so-called “unpaintable” plastic. Finally done with omega short of 3D printing a colorless helmet window.
His inner toes being a different color bothered the bejeezus out of me.
I forget if it was the Japanese or the Hasbro version, but I would definitely go for a powerlinx Optimus if they use the colors with the silver face, lighter navy blue cab and less washed-out blue on the head, shins and fists.
If they go the boxset route, I can see them adding shell-specific paint aps to the dino modes. As a regular release, the Dinobots are already paint-starved in dino mode and they have simpler color distribution, so I can see them just going for a few key applications.
I figured they went...
They’ll probably go inner robot colors since shell-based colors leads to robot and combined mode not looking anything like it’s supposed to. Two out of three as opposed to one.
I’d expect new robot and combiner heads at the most. Maybe new dinosaur heads with the dinoforce head armor but the altmodes are clearly not the altmodes or the shells so any way you slice it, they’d be inaccurate. Depending on the sculpt, hypothetical new dino heads might also lead to issues...
It’s what happens when a figure has an awkward ab crunch due to having essentially no torso and the unfathomable trend among Chinese-language photographers to pose toys with their crotches perpendicular to their torsos.
The base combiner is decent but not the slam dunk it needed to be to offset the individual robots. If a giftset has feet, that’s a neat little bonus but tbh, the arms need more help.
The pet shop finally got some more similis cories, so i bought another half dozen to make school of 12-15 by my estimates. They're fast, like to hide and relatively small so counting those things is impossible.
