I'll cut them some slack since the SRP is the same as a Leader class figure. Thing legit costs more to ship than buy. It's like a titan class weaponizer or whatever they're calling them nowadays.
Plus it leads to some crazy possible altmodes
Youtube recommended this video for me.
It's an interesting piece, with a robot whose altmode is... another robot mode.
It comes with a shield, a gun and two swords. For gimmickry, it has lights and sounds and you can fill it with water to have it blow mist out of the exhaust ports to simulate...
The all-in-one philosphy is interesting but I find it ultimately pointless since the combiner play pattern by definition is already partsforming. Having an integrated chesplate or hands isn’t a big sell when you still have entire limbs and a torso to reposition anyway. I mean it’s clever but if...
I like their philosophy in a nutshell and maybe on non-masterpiece figures it could work. Unfortunately, combined with the toon accuracy, it ends up with some gigantic, exeptionally janky-looking toys I wouldn’t pay sales prices for. Looks better than polio Bruticus and Skipped-Leg-Dayfensor at...
It appears that the light pink is only on the face so painting over the entire face with a close enough commercial paint would probably be simpler than matching the shade.
I like how each member has a signature weapon of sorts but the combined mode is strangely lanky and the individual robots are too generic mecha in terms of headsculpt.
Love the dinomodes though. Except Swoop, that's just Rodan.
Decided that I didn't like the jarring appearance of gray squares on Armada Prime's chest. I think this approximates the canon color breakup while adding some visual interest and a more gradual shift from red to gray.
It helps hide the gap where the doors should be in truck mode but robot mode...

A toy the approximate size of a child, that transforms less than the Hasbro Titan, for the low, low price of $1500? What a deal!
TBF most of that cost is probably shipping fees...
Love the colors but the mold is iffy. While Dreadwing holds together better than the reviews I've seen of Skyquake, there are lots of weird little design choices on this guy. There's not a lot of clearance for the wings, leading to having to rotate the waist 90 degrees just to swing them to the...
Have them on multiple streaming platforms, local stations, cable, online or anybody that'll take it. You don't have to stick to one and a TF cartoon's not going to be some big draw that sells subscriptions so may as well get a broader audience. If you are stuck to one platform, they need to get...
Hasbro needs to pick a lane and stick to it for kids’ toylines. The gimmicky stuff wouldn’t appeal to adult collectors but neither would compromised articulation, articulation and accuracy.
If a rainbow shitting unicorn at $200 has a market, they can sell something akin to fast action battlers...
