I don’t mind the Animated look. If I had infinite space and money sure, but it’s just too idiosyncratic. To save on space and costs, I had to draw the line somewhere and cut Animated, Movieverse and MP. Prime got saved from the purge because there’s only like a handful on each side lol.

TBH this says more about the exclusives than the current toyline.

The shade of brown and the detailing on the rock cycle guy reminds me of one of the surprises my dog likes to leave me. No purple on those though

Rubber tires are eh, if they really wanted to push the nostalgia buttons, chrome’s where it’s at.

I get that losing features sucks but comparing a retail $200-ish toy to a $600 collector figure is disingenuous. also firing missiles are terrible all around.

A still a bit too red IMo, though the brick red is far better than the primary red the previous pics had.

Why does Slipstream have ears anyway? The head’s already busy enough between the g1 seeker head and the added forehead crest, and Animated and RID don’t have ears either. Is this another Shadowstriker thing? Also, Doom’s better anyway.

Only complaint about them is they have lots of ball joints that get floppy that somehow resist tightening. edit: derp, I was thinking of the cyberjets, not the gatling gun guy

I guess you could say it has collectathon elements though I’d put it closer to a straight up platformer. Kinda like Mario 64.

Looks generically Optimus to me. The thing that sets that design apart is the circles on the cheekguards.

Hasbro heard all the complaints about their plastic yellowing over time and addressed the problem. Now, all toys come pre-yellowed with no need to wait.

Their armada Prime set was a bunch of unneeded crap when all people might have needed are the hands, crotchpiece and maybe the super mode arm extensions. They didn't even bother mirroring the footplates, meaning they stick out of both sides and are basically unusable. Their Animated Optimus...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

I don’t actually mind partsforming on characters who completely disassemble and frankly, it’s a benefit on Titan figures. I lift twice or thrice a week and Scorponok is still a pain to handle. The Megatron supermode parts are dumb but I get why they’re there and are more or less ignorable...
