Not liking the new Seeker mold. Besides the overly smooth surface detailing that doesn't quite jibe with the hodgepodge of Studio Series, Generation etc., the headsculpt's not great, the head's a bit small in general and the arms are wimpy. It's okay in a vacuum but not good enough to get me to...
The head looks significantly brighter than the yellow on the chest but oddly enough matches the feet. Dunno what's up with that but yellow is stupid when it comes to capturing it on camera.
I like Fatal Frame as a concept but F me actually playing the damn things is a slog. The ghost-capturing gameplay is great but they make the characters walk with the speed of a whale swimming through pudding and it bores me to tears just getting from point A to point B. Being an old-school style...
Achai's Bumblebee head is up for sale. I didn't expect it so soon after the mainland China holidays but it's there. While the stores are active again, I'm a bit apprehensive whether the shipping services have recovered.
I'm a bit concerned on how to install it though. The listing says to cut...
It took the comics too long to do anything of value with the arm that it just sort of faded into the background.
apart from the hokey mind-control plot point which honestly didn’t even need the arm, all it amounted to was a splash page of Optimus with the arm and a splash page of him tearing...
I don’t really count that as fake kibble since they’re not even implied to be the same windows. They’re not even the same shape.
I guess whatever weirdass four-wheeled truck they scanned had big rear windows.
Starscream is Kingdom Airrazor but worse in every metric. That’s kind of impressive.
i’d also hazard thst it’s not mean to be a falcon but a crow given the Japanese mythological association between crows and tengu.
Megatron X4 and onwards’ green charged shot was such a disappointment to me.
It’s one of the T30 Roadbuster accessories with the peg cut down and painted silver
I like the tank mode but the turret does sit too far forward and the tiny barrel up front looks more than a bit silly.
I think placing the usual tank stuff like missile launchers and a secondary gun helps hide that it’s obviously arms
Robot mode is fantastic though i do wish they...
My bank recently increased my credit limit. I don't know what about me never even getting anywhere near the original limit and a purchase history of almost entirely toys, video games and fast food made them think that was a good idea but okay.
Galvatron's torso works well enough and fits in with the SS86 "animation model but bulkier" aesthetic. The legs are a weak point, looking like bro skipped leg day in comparison and in general don't look great in either mode.
I just wiswh the shoulder assembly on the RTS Lugnut locked in somehow.
That and he was somewhat short in the Classics era. With the advent of Studio Series Optimus and Megatron, he's downright puny.
Digimon started as a virtual pet. No surprise grinding was baked into it day one. Still, don’t have the time I used to and it definitely loses to Pokemon in my book. Probably pick it up after I finish AZ.
I don’t like how a lot of these new Dogimon are straight up people though.
Decided to purchase a mace for Megatron. Never really like how chained flails work on action figures, so I bought a 3D print designed after the WFC mace. May as well give my spare DNA WFC axe to Studio Series Optimus. The spikes appear to be clear, so that's neat.
Also saw a sword for TR Alpha...
For reference here is the stock gun configuration, more or less. I can almost buy the insane color palette but Blot and Rippersnapper's guns are the same color, kind of ruining the Power Rangers-esque garish super weapon vibe. The big blue gun under the pink was even more garishly colored out of...
