Outside? Inside? No, thinking ABOUT the box: your thoughts on Transformers packaging

It would be interesting to see what color packaging other contemporary toylines were using at the time. In other words, does Hasbro switch between light and dark just to refresh their own appearance, or are they intentionally trying to stand out from the packaging of competing toylines on...

Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: stock renders of upcoming Alpha Trion, Micronus, Flatline, Fireflight, Skydive, ++

From one form of mechanical beast to another: Deluxe Insecticons! I'll have to get out the whole Hive later for a true group shot, but for now, here's the quartet with Venin! (I would love to finish the Beetras quintet with Beet Papil, but finishing this set is quite satisfying!)

The "What made you happy today" thread!

Haywire3 and his neighborhood friend and I played GI Joes outside, and way too late, I remembered that we had a Cobra Base in the garage that was too big for inside, but perfect for this kind of thing. The resulting battle was brief but epic, and oddly enough, the Cobras won! Viper, H.I.S.S...

    Studio Series discussion

I would assume resizing the design specs to fit the current scale would be part of the whole "tweaking the design" thing? Maybe my memory is just faulty (nope, checked the wiki, its not) but I feel like most of the modern Ravage figures try to give Ravage width by folding the cassette mode in...

    Studio Series discussion

I don't know that they're an improvement as much as a lateral move, but I would buy Laserbeak and Buzzsaw in a two-pack, just not with the cost of the Soundwave accessory that's thrown in. Ravage, I don't know, I feel like Device Label and Masterpiece had decent-looking Ravages (not sure how...

Random Thoughts From Out of Nowhere

I have at various times given my 7-year-old son a lot of guff for watching videos of people playing Minecraft on YouTube. I recently remembered that when I was around his age, I watched shows like "Video Power", "Nick Arcade", "Captain N the Gamemaster", and "The Super Mario Bros Super Show"...

Transformers Collaborative | Hot Wheels x Transformers

The hilarious thing about NGE is that it's an almost blatant ripoff of the Ultraman franchise, which is way more Tokusatsu than mecha. That said, yeah, it's influence on the mecha anime that followed is undeniable, for better or worse.

Our family joke is a borrowed line from "Good Neighbors" ("The Good Life" in the UK): Tom: "...bills?" Barbara: "Some of these are big enough to be Williams."

Transformers: Cyberworld, GALVATRON CAN HAVE WHATEVER FACIAL HAIR HE CHOOSES!

I would not normally be a proponent of blind-boxed anything, but in this case it's kind of been established in the world of the cartoon that weapons are dispensed in a random, loot-crate-like manner. I would be perfectly okay with known assortments of weapons and/or gear, with the random part...

Transformers: Cyberworld, GALVATRON CAN HAVE WHATEVER FACIAL HAIR HE CHOOSES!

It can be held as a weapon, it uses the standard 5mm post for a connection.

Transformers: Cyberworld, GALVATRON CAN HAVE WHATEVER FACIAL HAIR HE CHOOSES!

Chop Shop! Very reminiscent of BW Insecticon. Front mandible is removable, but doesn't have to to transform. Rearmost bug legs are movable, attached with a 5mm post. A solid figure with the usual Cyberworld limited articulation. The weapon is a little weird; I guess it's meant to be a hammer...

    The Official Allspark Bluey Thread

If anything, Surprise kind of implies that a new sibling is not planned for the Heelers: When Bluey shows up after the timeskip, she asks about Bingo, but nobody else. Obviously, that doesn't mean they couldn't have another kid, but this show has been pretty smart about laying the hints at the...

    Takara Missing Link G1 Series

Magnus looks like he's giving himself a backrub! So, Magnus, Sunstreaker, Cordon, and Arcee are all Missing Link figures. Does anyone else feel like Silverbolt is the odd bot out? Has there been any hints of an ML Silverbolt/Superion?

Transformers: Cyberworld, GALVATRON CAN HAVE WHATEVER FACIAL HAIR HE CHOOSES!

Got Elita-1, probably take more pics later, but I just thought I'd share this little detail: So, the nose of the boat folds back so it's not sticking up over her head, and it's spring loaded for whatever reason. Anyway, someone sculpted a winch and hook on the hinge! It's a cool little detail...
