That's basically what I did re: Smokescreen et al. I sold off most of the Alternators I didn't want to keep, but The Su-bro-rus stayed, as did Hound, Mirage, Ravage, and Acura Prowl.

I'd take another Jaguar XK Ravage or Corvette Battle Ravage in a heartbeat.

Well that sucks about your Megazord, Nytetrayn. And Dake, yeah, I agree that they typically handle the Haslab issues pretty well. I have lucked out and haven't had any issues with what I've gotten so far. In the interest of consistency though, I just wish that they applied the same philosophy...

This is very true. However, some of us pay a fee to Hasbro to be able to get it NOW (or as close as we are reasonably able), so we won't have to scramble around later. Increasingly, my experience with Pulse is that I am doing much more scrambling outside of their site than I feel I should.

Tidal Wave was a "wait and see" release for me, but I am passing. I'm glad that he exists, but I've had recent issues with Hasbro products that have made me not want to give them $200. On principle though, it irks me that I pay money for a Pulse account, but have to use the other company that...

I always liked the Binaltech / Alternators Subarus.

I feel the same way about this Gears that I did when Brawn was announced. His face and upper body are fine, but the lower part...egads. I don't know what's going on with those skinny, doofy-looking wheels in vehicle mode, either, but they're an eyesore. I feel like this team is capable of...

Yes, if it had been a Deluxe Class figure, I would have been bummed, but I definitely wouldn't have been motivated to contact customer service, seek out a replacement, etc. This Commander Class experience that I've had with SS86 Magnus makes me glad that I'm skipping Magmatron. It's also...

Yeah, it is unfortunate when QC issues befall us. In my case, I really wish that they had a junker torso lying around, because that would be the easiest way to resolve the issue. As it is, I think that they think that I just want a brand new Magnus, and that is not the case. In another era...

Top 5 Transformers you love to transform and 5 you hate (40th Anni)

@Darth_Prime, I think the Towline/Deluxe-ish figures were "Combat Class." The smaller figures were "Energon Class."

@Doncropolis, after a bit of fumbling around on the Pulse site, I was taken to their Consumer Care site, which led to this: https://support.hasbropulse.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022479552-Wrong-item-Damaged-item-packaging Click on the "Contact us here with photos..." area, and it gives you...

Question: has anyone found SS86 Ultra Magnus in the wild, such as Target or somesuch? I know that he is sold out online in most places. Mine is misassembled from the factory (one of the hinges is installed backwards) and it makes proper transformation impossible: I have been working with...

Top 5 Transformer Spaceship designs (40th)

Scattershot, Strafe, Misfire, Triggerhappy, Cyclonus, Noisemaze, etc. - I love all of those spacefightery designs.

In no particular order: 1). Cybertron Vector Prime 2). G1 Omega Supreme 3). G1 Astrotrain 4). The Ark 5). Cybertron Noisemaze There are probably tons more that I could list, but these are the first ones that came to mind.

    Generations Selects Appreciation Thread

This is a highly stupid way to release Hound, if a box set is the plan. I fail to understand what the big damn deal would have been in just releasing him as a stand alone figure. But if this ends up being the only way to get a proper earth mode, I will happily pass.

    Happy 40th Annaversary Transformers!

I was between 7 and 8 years old in 1984, and was primed (pun intended?) to really lock in with Transformers. I had a few Gobots and continued to buy them throughout the early-to-mid 80s, but I had a much stronger and instant connection to Transformers. I recall that my first ones were Prowl...

He does look pretty darn good. This is the first Commander Class figure that I'll be holding off on buying, but I like that it exists, and am happy for those who are eagerly anticipating his release.
