Are you talking about the new continuity? It's all collected in a six-volume hardcover set.
Volume 1: The World In Your Eyes
Volume 2: The Change In Their Nature
Volume 3: All Fall Down
Volume 4: Declaration of War
Volume 5: Horrors Near and Far
Volume 6: War's End
If you talking about stuff...
Interesting, I thought it was easily the least of the G1 Japan exclusives. It's a fun, weird thing where they basically made a tokusatsu based on Transformers, but I had trouble engaging with the show early on.
Victory was the one that one the really suprised me with how good it was.
Eh...
Pretenders are due for a conceptual rework, IMO.
If I were writing it, they'd be normal transformers with living biotissue directly grafted on to them so they can pass as organics. (Humanoids in the case of the Autobots, monsters in the case of Decepticons) rather than sticking with the "robot...
Bomburst looks fantastic. Something still feels off about Skullgrin, like he was originally going to be a core class but then they decided to pump up his price point but kept most of the compromises from the core design. I could use a little more pretender in robot mode and a little more tank...
I transformed my Earthrise Wheeljack so much that one of his windshield bits in his leg broke the coupling. Not the end of the world, but that bit likes to slide off now whenever I transform it.
If they just used transparent plastic for the transparent bits, it'd be fine. (Though I still find seeing a bunch of robot mode kibble inside the car to be as equally fake looking as painted windows. Give me opaque!) but these days they don't make Transformers with enough parts to separate out...
Prime vs Prime did his review and man, the transparent plastic did this figure no favors. Just completely mismatched colors all around on top of being a potential timebomb for transparent plastic syndrome.
Had they cast him entirely out of red plastic and then painted the windows, I think he'd...
Got to say that while I don't think it makes even remotely a good Prime Bulkhead, the Wrecker Bulkhead is still a dope toy and I love the new color scheme.
For me I got in about the time of Escalation, and I loved the new modern take on the concept, with the bots and cons disguised on earth fighting a cold war for resources. While it was mostly S1 characters, they weren't afraid to throw in some later characters and fan favorites and the spotlight...
I've said this before, but while it's possible there's some sort of carveout to allow IDW to finish publishing their hardcovers, if that were the case, I imagine they'd be crowing about it from the high heavens, because otherwise the assumption is that the set will never be completed and that'll...
Man, they're really going all in on the Core Dinobots.

Guess this also confirms Bomburst as the remaining Year 1 Energon Monster.
So that's a full set of...
Whether or not the execution meets your standards, it's pretty clear he's intended to be Scourge/Black Convoy.
I'd be surprised if Hasbro was willing to put out that mold again in a slightly different teal and black color scheme, so he's probably the best we're going to get for the next 5-10...
