The original couldn't fold it's truck bed all the way up against the back of the cab, either. It only folded up at a diagonal rather than fully 90° vertical like the PMOP cab did.
Just got out of the theater from seeing the movie. There are two end credit scenes, one during the middle of the credits and one at the very end.
