There's really two(.five) problems with Beast Machines
1. It was a sequel to a series the creators were specifically told to not even watch, so everyone's characters radically changes from how they were, often in bizarre or unsatisfying ways.
2. It was also a sequel to G1 but incorporates that...
Turns out this was the most nothing of burgers. Unrelated franchise with a cover homage to a GI Joe comic.

The wait continues.
Remember when Hasbro gave the Transformers license to a basically unknown company that turned out to be run by a man who was either hugely incompetent or an outright scam artist.
Sounds like the GI Joe Comic, at least, may have landed with Power Comics Inc.

I've never heard of them, so I can't speak to them as a company. Also who knows if they're also...
Looks good, but I unfortunately do not have room for redecos of titans I already own. I don't even have room for new mold titans (Sorry $100 Metroplex, it was not to be). I have no idea where I'm putting the Ark and Nemesis already.
Will suck on missing out on a micromaster, but outside of...
Tarantulas was also supposed to be related to Jhiaxus' G2 Cybertronian Empire (the Unicron spawn insult was just that, an insult.) but that also didn't make it into the show.
It's a decent deco, and the headsculpt is great (though I'm not sure about goign with toy accuracy over show accuracy here) but the vehicle mode is just wrong all around and the bot mode tries. It tries SO hard but I'm not sure it gets there.
I dunno; I don't have an especial fondness for RiD...
It's set in a generic G1 universe; so you have stuff like Starscream's ghost from the G1 toon, but also stuff like Primus from the G1 comic.
It is not explicitly set in any particular version of G1 other than it's own.
I'll be honest, $100 is tempting; but the fact I'll need an upgrade kit and also that I'd have to find some place to put him is a bit of a downer.
Still, having the four colony world leaders would be cool.
It's still really funny that we have no official confirmation on what the hell these actually are. They're probably from the High Moon videogame, but who knows for sure!
Also, Hasbro released pictures of most of Volcanicus (they're using two Grimlocks for legs)

He actually doesn't look as bad as I thought he would. Shame that comes at the...
It wasn't really anything to write home about, but given it had to be a trailer, base and a pair of pants AND incorporate an auto-transforming gimmick, it's not surprising the base mode is kinda forgettable.
Hopefully they can do something good now that they don't have to account for a bunch of...
I wonder what the chances of us getting a Leader class Scarr in the mainline at some point in the future. Obviously not until 2025 at the earliest, in whatever follows Legacy probably, but I'd love to see what he'd look like when given a leader class budget without having to factor in turning...
Scarr looks alright in robot mode if you ignore the lack of elbows, but that dino mode is a bit naff.
Compared to the rest of the Dinobots, Swoop is a minor miracle. Great robot mode and a pretty good dino mode.
Genuinely shocked, honestly.
'nother batch of 2024 figures got listed.

So MV6 is the Bumblebee movie, which is interesting because characters like Rumble and Megatron weren't in...
