And then he later becomes essentially a junkyard dog, eating the local sheriff's patrol car and then vomiting it back up. You know? For kids!

The metallic dinosaur remains seen at the beginning of the movie sure seemed like they were meant to relate to the Dinobots somehow, but they never really factor into the story at all. Truly baffling.

Transformers: Cyberworld, WTF (Why The Faces)

I'm reminded of a time when people felt the MCU adding humor to its movies felt like a breath of fresh air, starting with the first Guardians of the Galaxy, as that film came off the back of the first three Phase 2 movies that were all pretty grim at best and pretty bleak at worst, which were...

For me, it just represents the zenith of Optimus Prime's "I'LL KILL YOU!!!" phase of psychopathy under Bay's direction.

Not sure how you missed it.

Transformers: Cyberworld, WTF (Why The Faces)

The first-draft script for TFTM introduced a young but massive Junkion who befriended Grimlock (and whose role as the Dinobots' spunky sidekick was likely later taken by Wheelie in the finalized movie), and his name was Scrapo (pronounced like "Scrap-O" rather than "Scrape-O").

Don't feel so bad. I'm probably one of the few people on this board who has never ever seen or read any He-Man fiction at all (besides the old Nostalgia Critic reviews of the Chirstmas special and live-action movie, and the old Nostalgia Chick review of the She-Ra pilot movie) because I have...

Heh, Galoob not having creative input from Hasbro proper on those figures is a strong factor for why so many of those figures turned out the way they did.

Back when Hasbro had little reverence for the past, always looking forward and never looking back. Back when Soundwave was forbidden to ever become a cassette player or even a non-vehicular object ever again (Takara's MP3 player Soundwave had no creative input from Hasbro).

I'd say they were even more humble about the BotBots cartoon.

Frankly speaking, when was the last time we got one that was like that? All the way back in Prime? RID 2015 mostly saved its epic moments for just its season finales. As did Rescue Bots and Rescue Bots Academy (though, the former also had the occasional epic moments in its multi-parters)...

Transformers: Cyberworld, WTF (Why The Faces)

Yeah, people have been whining about how much the humor in this show reminds them too much of the MCU, but I'm just like... "Have y'all forgotten the humor of Beast Wars and Animated so easily?"

Oh, that would have been hilarious as a double pun, what with him being a "space truck".

Transformers: Cyberworld, WTF (Why The Faces)

The confusion stems from episode 1 and 2 being released together on the same day in one video, with the following weekend having no new episode, and then episode 3 coming out today. It's like they originally scheduled each episode to be released one per week, but then decided to release episode...

Had it been up to me, and if I had to stick to the naming conventions of the Archer era, I probably would have gone with something like "Stellarforce Optimus Prime", with "Stellarforce" also serving as a new Hasbro English name for the Battlestars team since a certain other sci-fi franchise...
