If Bumblebee couldn't get a new head, this line must have a brutally limited budget for retooling. So I'll forgive the claws. For the limitations they have, this looks great.
Could this line do something besides Minibots though? Prowl? Hound? Seekers?
City still has me doing yard work. Last week I got sunburned so bad that I'm still peeling. I haven't felt this many times in my life, and never this bad. It's been a learning experience.
And what I've learned is sunburn is very different from whatever the hell happened to me that night...
They're at a slight angle to each other in the first shot. Not as much as the second, but it's possible that these character models don't exist in enough angles to totally get it right.
I give partial credit. They could have just zoomed out but they tried to be fancy about it.
If you were expecting the reasons to be normal fundraising spam stuff like "We're being outraised" or "We're going to miss our goal", ha ha that is not how this works.
I don't know if he absolutely technically can't. It could be one of those things nobody ever assumed they'd need to write a rule to prevent a president from doing. But if it's not a rule I'm sure anyone he talks to in DOJ will tell him it's a rule.
Hopefully production is complete and Hasbro is stuck with the stock. If so, they will find an outlet for it. They're not going to let it rot in a warehouse.
The early script was nuts. If any insider is able to locate a surviving copy I am willing to pay an irresponsible amount of money for it.
I wish more studios would dump or even sell scripts once they're no longer needed. I used to collect that stuff. Universal used to be great about it but now...
It could have been wilder. Earlier drafts also had earth ponies building a great wall to keep everyone else out. That got dropped because Hasbro thought it sounded too timely, though its actual purpose was just to set up a 'Vault Dweller seeing the world for the first time' moment.
Yeah. G5 is a G-rated post apocalyptic future built on the ruins of a civilization no one remembers. Earth ponies, unicorns, and pegasuses stopped living together at some point due to some vague calamity, and they don't remember that they ever lived together in the first place. History has been...
G5 is dead. Flopped is a strong word though. It was doing okay. But then Hasbro managed to lose $1.5 BILLION in 2023 and they needed to rethink the meaning of okay.
