I feel for them. They wanted to keep Hasbro so bad, but they just didn't have anything to offer. Hasbro would be staying just for nostalgia and the pride of having their own building. That just wasn't enough. The new headquarters is right across the road from a huge convention center. They're...
I think Hasbro was also surprised we got as much as we did. I'm sure they had high hopes but this was such an out of control runaway success that it changed the whole company.
Yeah the more I look the more this makes sense. This is sad for Pawtucket, and maybe it's less prestigious for Hasbro to rent space in a high rise instead of owning their own gigantic headquarters, but the new building looks nice. And maybe more importantly, the whole area looks more alive. I...
Oh yeah, this pushes my buttons. The movie was a hit, and I think this packaging was a hit. I've never felt anything at a line's debut quite like this one. I was there on day one when the street date for this line finally arrived. After all those months of speculation and flame wars over leaked...
I like the blind packaging with a cheat code that people can ignore if they want to play this dumb luck based game "properly". It's a rare compromise that actually lets everybody get what they want without giving anything up.
I could see someone wanting to transform it that way but I don't see what the kit contributes here. Does it add something so Long Haul's legs lock in that position?
Poor Man's Chronicle Prime! I was hoping this would work because I do not have an Earthrise trailer.
Remember when this was the most barebones trailer ever? Functionally it still is but at least it looks complete.

It is mildly depressing how good I'm getting at dealing with this crap. It's obviously a good thing. It's better to be good at it than not. But it means this stuff has affected me. For good, yes. But it feels vaguely violating to know that it has affected me.
But the problem may be solved, so...
Hasbro got scared off because some of those Star Wars sets did not do great. But the Transformers sets so far have clearly been a different story. They should be feeling a little more confident by now.
Hasbro probably thinks the gimmick weapons are better fidget toys, and they're probably right. But yeah I'd rather have loot crates. Maybe slather Prime in paint and pack him with a loot crate and sell it as a Voyager. Whatever. Make it happen somehow.
I like Mirage more than Starscream. It's so out of the box like Cyberworld tends to be, yet so very sensible in its own way. Formula One cars are kinda like jets with wheels instead of wings.
