    Transformers Legacy toyline

If you can make it into Tampa, hit up Big Redhead's vintage toys and comics. They had a SS '86 Steeljaw for sale last time I was there. I admit I still have a bit of that "but they don't transform" bias, but Blokees do what RED didn't, and actually look fun. I think that's the trick. Make...

Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see firetrucks fighting with sharks!

I had the original Dinobot toy and thought he was the coolest thing ever (Jurassic Park meets Transformers before Collab did it) but I never liked the Mainframe face the show gave him. Too... I donno. I can't put my finger on it. Just not my cup of tea. Especially not compared to the awesome...

Buzzworthy Bumblebee Dinobot. No, it's the repaint of that remould, from Buzzworthy. The rest of the toy looks like uncooked chicken, but I dug the headsculpt.

What are the best Japanese Transformers shows?

In terms of Japanese only shows, I like Victory and Masterforce.

    Masterpiece Theater: the MP thread

I think it depends on how one qualifies it. Magmatron was a Japanese only character Hasbro released in 2000. Even if they did just import him... I donno... it feels like splitting hairs to say he doesn't count. If you wanna say this is the first time Hasbro, in the...

    Masterpiece Theater: the MP thread

I think the changes they made would have made more sense if they had changed things specifically to fit with the Western G1 show. Like... Headmasters is supposed to be the follow up to G1 season three. If they took some liberties to bring it more in line with Sunbow's stuff... ok that's annoying...

    Masterpiece Theater: the MP thread

Yeah I think it's Magmatron. Japanese exclusive character Hasbro released and they didn't use the mould for anything else before that. Additionally "first use of the mould" seems like a weird qualifier. The HasLab hype comment was that Star Sabre was the first time a Japanese exclusive...

That has Alvarez stink all over it, yeah.

    Masterpiece Theater: the MP thread

I admit I don't mind changes. Victory, which is one of my favourite TF shows ever, was first introduced to me by an amateur fan sub that called God Ginrai "Apex Prime." Heck, I thought that was Ginrai's official English language name for years because of that, and it's still my preferred...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

Worth checking out. Even if that Brave TFO Optimus isn't there anymore, they've had a decent selection of Legacy United stuff the last few times I've popped by.

Headmasters is far from peak, and they did Arcee dirty, but I feel like it goes a long way to redeem a lot of the TFTM/season three guys. And as Princess Viola said, at the very least it gives that year's worth of toys/characters more time to shine since it's not rushing to fit everything into...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

It's the one in the plaza with the Wesley Chapel Target. A bit of a schlep if you're coming from the city but it was there as of a few days ago for around $75
