    The MST3K thread by Gizmonics

So they announced the first movie they've cleared for Season 14 and it's a doozy. Battle Beyond the Stars I can just hear the A-Team and Waltons references now.

Musk manipulating stock values in a questionable way, no, he'd never do that. He's never done it before after all. /s

It was a scene in one of the Abrams films(don't remember if it was in to darkness or beyond off the top of my head)

What stupid thing did the GOP say or do this time? Episode 3!

Yea, and now that Texas is slowly inching towards being purple, even more so. Almost half the Texas population wants the Republicans out of power, that's a LOT of people for an independent Texas to persecute.

What stupid thing did the GOP say or do this time? Episode 3!

What else did you expect. Fearmongering is what they do best, after all. Even when it's as nonsensical as Hamas sending people into Mexico to sneak across the boarder.

    Anti-Semitism

It probably varies depending on how hardline or extremist the Muslim school in question is. One of the reasons I really wish they would revoke tax exempt statuses for religious organizations.

I wouldn't trust Musk with my non-existent dogecoin wallet, much less my actual finances. What I wonder is HOW exactly he plains to turn a failing social media platform into a successful finance platform. He's absolutely insane at this point.

    Star Trek Lower Decks

Yup, it's still the Klingon Empire. The Khitomer Accords and the fallout from the Neranda III incident resulted in a long standing alliance and end of (most)hostilities between the two powers. Culturally, the Klingon Empire would have a hard time joining the Federation, I think, despite the...

Fund drive for season 14 has started. Looks like they are planning to do their AI remastering on up to 36 episodes in addition to up to 12 new full length episodes and shorts. Physical sets are also returning this time around(YAY!). Who's leaving and who's returning hasn't been announced yet...

    Star Trek Lower Decks

Also keep in mind the Ferengi who join Starfleet generally aren't as interested in Ferengi tradition as those who stay loyal to the Ferengi Alliance. Starfleet isn't exactly a place to go if you're trying to get insanely wealthy, after all.

He's just doing what he always does, trolling. He didn't want to buy twitter, remember. His trolling just happened to catch up with him in that case.

Seems to be the case. Mr Scott would wear a kilt as part of his dress uniform, several Bajoran officers wore their traditional earring even with their standard uniform and Worf was almost never seen without his Baldric.

    Star Trek Lower Decks

Funny thing is, it wasn't ALL that consistent even back in the day. Sure, Sisko was considered a bit of a kook for loving the ancient sport of Baseball, but the TNG department heads regularly had poker nights and Worf played soccer as a youth.

See, that's what I don't understand. The Tony Stark character was ACTUALLY a genius engineer. Musk is a programmer, and not a great one. The only things they have in common is that they are both industrialists.
