    Diaclone Reboot

Yeah, I wish I could justify plunking down the dough for it, but just like the MP Raiden project, it's a bit too rich for my blood. With very few exceptions, my experience tends to be that the more money I spend on a given figure, the less overall enjoyment I get out of it. Meaning that I...

    Super 7 ReAction

Now this is interesting! Heck, I might even be tempted to pick up one or two of those Quintessons. I've got a few of the Reaction figures and they make fun little desk toys to fiddle with at work.

    Diaclone Reboot

    Very cool!

    Transformers Legacy toyline

Yeah, that Jhiaxus set does look really cool, overall. Personally though, I wouldn't be over the moon about paying $16 + shipping for it, which basically works out to half the cost of the figure it's intended to upgrade.

Not-Jetfire (Macross Robotech VF-1S God of Flame) with Fast Pack Armour from Kitzconcept

Yeah, this does look really nice. I actually bought the VF1-J Valkyrie (Rick Hunter), and he's pretty good. Transformation is not great though, and he's a little...frail-feeling in some areas. For those reasons, I don't mess with him too much, and I don't think that I would take another...

After the Velocitron 5000 - Next Walmart Line

I agree that it's time to throw in a little bit of Beast Machine love. Tankor would still be my first choice, even though he saw a release in Generations. I think that under the current conditions, something in at least a Voyager Class - but nothing smaller - should be the starting point...

    Your Best TF Deals?

I've had a lot of good fortune collecting over the years, and have helped quite a few of my fellow collectors along the way. Here are just a couple of my favorites: -In 1995, I came across a guy who had a bunch of Transformers that he wanted to get rid of. To my surprise, he had a garage...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

And he's a really great figure, IMO. Jhiaxus, that is. Soundwave's pretty good, too.

    Transformers Legacy toyline

I definitely get your point, it's just that I don't know if proper is the term I'd use to describe him. He's certainly a Wheelie though, and a transforming one at that.

    Studio Series 86 Appreciation Thread

SS86 Arcee is pretty good, IMO. I feel like it's a bit of a missed opportunity to go "full SS86 Hot Rod", making her a Voyager price point and including a flip down visor, more detailing, and a more involved transformation that would yield a better looking robot. I also don't care for her...

Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection - Transformers: Legacy subline at Walmart

Probably because they wanted to create hype around it, or because they just didn't make that many.

Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection - Transformers: Legacy subline at Walmart

True, it's a version of Arcee. But not G1 "car on my back" Arcee, in the way that pretty much each Nightbird has been so far. Post has been edited for clarification.

Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection - Transformers: Legacy subline at Walmart

Road Rocket is really fun, IMO. It's my first experience with the mold (didn't get Arcee) and they did a great job. I've never been the world's biggest motorcycle fan, but the vehicle mode is nice. The robot mode is where it's at for me though, as I love ninjas. Hell, I wouldn't mind if they...

    Studio Series 86 Appreciation Thread

Speaking of the whole "not afraid to take a pass on recently done characters", I would really, really like it if the team could take another pass and do SS86 Galvatron. I mean, the Kingdom/Legacy version is okay and I have really tried to like it, upgrade kits and all. But try as I may, I just...

    Generations Selects Appreciation Thread

That's the primary issue with mine, yes. Legs, knees, head, etc. are all okay, it seems.

    Generations Selects Appreciation Thread

Yeah, I took the Gen Selects Cyclonus plunge, and I think I'm going to need about a gallon of floor polish to tighten his joints. It's really a shame because he looks so good in that toy deco.

    Transformers Legacy toyline

Everything looked pretty good to me, overall. I never really got into the Pretenders (the toys or the band!), but Bomburst does look great. I'm most looking forward to SS86 Ironhide, Rumble, and Legacies Inferno and Dead End.
