Yeah, it was/is definitely more fun to find something in the wild. I was able to find Cosmos on a Wal-Mart run last year, and that definitely pushed the nostalgia buttons. Beyond that isolated purchase though, the closest I can get to what I used to experience is if I pass on preordering...

I do too. But as the times have changed, so have my collecting habits. Anything that I know I will really want, I preorder. If I should happen to come across something I'm looking for at a physical store, cool; happy accident. Hunting for toys the old-school way just isn't as groovy as it...

^ I like that idea. Instead of a blast effect or somesuch, they could include a little UFO Bumblebee, and a storage feature for Wheeljack's alt mode. I honestly wouldn't mind paying the Voyager-tier cost if they were willing to do something like that.

Yeah, I am talking specifically about a first-episode-of-G1-style toy. They knocked both Bumblebee and Jazz out of the park, and I feel like the current team could do Wheeljack justice as well.

Yeah, I really want a Wheeljack to round things out. At this current rate, he feels very much like a possibility.

I'm pretty close to ZacWilliam1's approach in mainly prioritizing G1 stuff; it's just what tugs at my heartstrings the most. However, I have grown along with the brand and there's a lot that I like that came afterward. These days, I try to limit my purchases outside of G1-referencing...

I'm not usually interested in movie designs, but there have been exceptions (Last Knight Voyager Megatron is still such an incredible looking and fun figure). This Scourge is one of those exceptions.

NGL, I don't know a lot of names on that list. I know Signal Lancer, Paddles and Botanica. Out of those three, I think that Botanica will be the last to get a toy.

I got him this week and have not had the opportunity to open due to work, etc. Can't wait to check it out.

I've only got the Scorponok mold from the Creatures Collide pack. I didn't get Rhinox because the robot mode face / head just looks too off. If they had done something different with this release, I might be interested. But as it is, it will take a lot to unseat my LG-EX Rhinox from 7 or 8...
