Actually, this comment makes me wonder if redoing those CR/RiD molds all in yellow with Tonka labels would have been more appealing. I wonder how much that would have to have sold for in 2022?

It was only $80, but we've seen the prices of everything go up quite a lot in the few years since then. I don't think this price is out of range once that's considered.

The only difference I can see is that, while he would still have been a sore loser in 2016, he wouldn't have had the same level of power he enjoyed in 2020 to try to force the country to accept his version of events. The "big lie" would have been... well, smaller.

The only way I can reconcile it is that they mean it in a quasi-but-not-entirely serious way. That said, there are a lot of other things these folks routinely say that are at odds with their professed (especially Christian) religious beliefs, so there's that.

Saw this a few days ago. While I consider this the very worst episode of all of Trek, I had to admit, it worked surprisingly well as a Filmation-style episode (of course, only having to deal with a few minutes of it probably helped).

I simply took it as given that these toys are for Transformers fans who also like GI Joe, but NOT really for Joe fans who may also like TFs. The TF name recognition is thus all-important. The Joe name recognition... not so much.
