Possibly. Ultimately, I fault the plot less simply because they had the foresight to have the security officer specifically request the whole starship, despite the salient points made already in this thread whereby a smaller ship would typically make more sense. All I have to do is say "Well...
The way I read that, Lucy didn't actually stop Desi from anything. Desi simply didn't commit murder. He still went out, with the gun, while drunk, and had the confrontation.
I'm intrigued that they're making the "Jhiaxus trooper" (not the name I'd have given it, but I suppose it's easily trademarkable). Not necessarily enough to pick it up (let alone multiples... is this a single wave? It's interesting that three of the four are potential troopbuilders).
UPDATE...
Even leaving aside the knee-jerk defense of Trump, if we were to follow Jordan's logic, it would be impossible to accuse any President of wrongdoing. Whatever one thinks of the utility of impeachment, the fact that the process exists demonstrates that the founders considered it possible for a...
Not going to happen. Even if we posited the unlikely chance that the loser of the primary decided to run in the general election as an Independent (and that would be Desantis, not Trump, let's be clear), the "conservative" vote goes to Trump, with very little splitting off going to DeSantis.
I'm as keen to see Trump behind bars as the next never-Trumper, but I know that's not terribly likely. All I really need is for some legal result to have such impact that Trump finds himself unable to run for President again. Beyond that, it's gravy.
And we haven't even mentioned the fact that the ONE figure whose character really needed a remolded head (Megaplex, since he's meant to be a clone of Megatron) wasn't given one....
Popularity had nothing to do with it. The smaller toys were developed late enough that they never had a chance to be released during G2, and the larger toys were developed during the period when Transformers didn't exist in the US, making MW their first-ever US appearance.
Getting into the weeds a bit re: copyright and trademark. Copyright would apply to the specific toys of the Rock Lords back in the day. Get too close to those, and arguably Bandai could have a claim to win a lawsuit. Copyright lasts a long time. Decades.
Trademark, on the other hand, applies to...
Maybe. But to look at it another way, it was roughly five years after the original line came out that we started seeing things like the Pretender "Classics." If you're a kid, five years was ages ago....
I'm not about to get into photo comparisons. I took your original comment to be a complaint about the LD-style of uniforms where the black section goes all the way down to the communicator (which, of course, is rather different from the uniforms of the TNG era they sort of resemble). If you're...
