I wasn't back into buying figures during Energon's run, but I've picked up a few since then and have always been impressed. As I look back, that really was a great toyline.
That Bumblebee looks significantly worse than the old Generations one. The Optimus isn't too bad, other than the head is a little too small, even for a Transformer (who's heads are typically a bit undersized compared to their bodies).
Sadly, half of the ones that were picked up have probably been broken/thrown away over the years as you average consumer probably would never have even known how rare they were.
Same here. I've paid full price for the other Titan's I own, but he's firmly in the "I'd pick him up if I come across a good deal, but I won't shed any tears if I miss out" category.
Right? It seems like there are a ton of obvious repaints that would sell like hotcakes. We've currently got Buzzworthy, Selects, and even Shattered Glass as additional outlets outside of the main line for repaints. Give me:

I did see pics of the box before they were taken down, and the box art revealed that:

Knowing something like that ahead of time would completely ruin the experience for me.
It is kind of funny that they skipped half of the characters that were specifically shown in their Cybertronian modes in the cartoon in favor of made-up ones for different characters. Not sure exactly what the reasoning was on that one.
