So that he still turns into "a gun" even if not a handgun. He can have various bits-and-bob accessories that can beef up the basic cannon to something more like this:
Curious to see what the new Devy looks like, though I doubt I'll spring for it. I finally recently bought the CW one, so even though this one will probably be better in ways, I can't imagine it would be better enough to justify replacing my current one.

Yeah, I think they only ever really put things on clearance when the line itself changes name. They don't seem to recognize the difference between waves, so much.

This guy! Yeah, I always thought that Switchblade would be a fantastic name for him, not only as an appropriately Transformer-y sounding name, but also as the M.A.S.K. reference.
Well, not DIRECTLY, though I did go through a good number of snacks last night. I'm disposing of the wrappings properly, but once they leave my care, who's to say?
I have the Slamdance and Squakbox, and thought those were great. I generally don't buy much 3rd party stuff unless it's something that seems unlikely to be released by Hasbro at retail prices, but I'll admit to being tempted by those wonderfully tiny guys, too.
