God I love transforming Mixmaster’s legs. They’re everything I love about transforming robot toys. Such a simple but effective use of space.

I don't know why superhero teams always need to have the bow and arrow guy. Is it to make their non-powered dude look better or a union/insurance thing?

The preorder SRP was too good to pass up for me. It’s basically buying two Leaders at a slight discount with another free Leader. Really don’t care about the Hulk hands, the box or throne. Astrotrain’s the worst of the set and he’s more mediocre in his vehicle modes and greebly than outright bad.

What a great set. The colors are perfect, the molds are good and the price is a great value. You miss Astrotrain and Blitzwing’s oversized accessories but they were kind of lame anyway.

It's a really, really nice shade of purple. The pic where the "face" is still silver is the closest I got it in these shots. It's similar to the G1 toy but a little bit lighter, which is perfect for Shockwave as far as I'm concerned. It also has just a hint of metallic to it

After their 86 Optimus kit, it may as well be a Gigatron arm for Fire Convoy because who needs upgrade kits to actually improve the base figure.

Since it’s DNA design, it’ll come with the thing you need, a new head basically identical to the stock head, articulated hands, parts to make Omega Prime taller and gap fillers for Deathsaurus or something.

The vehicle ones don’t look too bad but this and The Gaoranger/Wild Force megazord are terrible. The price makes it somewhat understandable but IDK, if you’re cheaping out at least throw a couple stickers in the box.

The hands are painted blue, screwing up the tolerances. I shaved a little bit off the insides with a knife and it helped. it really doesn’t help how dark the blue is and how clear the axe is.

Got this guy in the mail as well. He’s a smidge too big but I prefer that to the smidge too small siegewave did. This is the guy who can beat up Megatron and take on all the dinobots at the same time time after all. Altmode is a flying cannon which is the usual cybertronian greeble pile but hey...

I actually prefer Earthrise’s fat barrel to the Studio Series’ thin barrel with a clear nub on the end.
