You shouldn't trust the US so long as the Republicans stand a chance of regaining power in every election. We've seen that they either lack a spine or that their true colors align with Trump.

But he showed his ID, which proved he wasn't the right person, and at least two of the deputies already knew him personally. Even after confirming he wasn't the suspect, they still detained him, used force, and later discussed whether they could justify an arrest anyway.

Someone needs to check Schumer and Jeffries for a pulse.

Kinda like how cops broadly interpret "disorderly conduct" to fit any given situation if they want to arrest you badly enough.
