Here's another shot. When you consider that Menasor is hunched a bit and the rest have to stand straight (or possibly fall to their deaths...).

They are a smidge taller and with considerably more bulk.

HasLab is pretty cartoon accurate as far as placement. More so than the original surprisingly.

Yeah, that tank is rough. I hope that's one thing they're able to improve a bit. The components, all of them honestly, have a lot of chunks to them. Seeing photos next to Deathsaurus and CW Liokaiser really puts it into perspective.

You have to honor what the original did right and make concessions where it makes sense . Leg bots are easier (they're already doing it well with the Constructicons) than a lower torso bot (which they have yet and seemingly can't get right in modern combiner).

Also, making the Baja buggy the biggest guy would be pretty laughable. It worked for Longhaul, as others have mentioned, he can take on the largest vehicle mode and did seen like one of the two toughest of the lot.

You either get a really good combiner and really good individuals with one extra part or a combiner with terrible waist articulation and really good individuals or a really good combiner with a badly sized and proportioned individual and 5 good individuals. There is no way to do a really good 6...

I took some crappy photos yesterday. None of the Trigger celebration video, which is the highlight. I particularly like the new Decepticon illustration by Hayato Sakamoto (also didn't take any photos of).

I have the Figure King mook and the PDF link you provided isn't it. Looks like it's another celebration book from a few months or a year ago.
