TFUinfo has a cool "ID your Unknown Transformer" function which is a neat way to just see what's out there. Select a color and then select the "military" sub-heading and you'll see every vaguely tank-shaped alt-mode out there.

Those characters all had their bot modes adapted to work with the Joe/Cobra alt-modes though; they didn't wear them like a converting cardboard Halloween costume. That's the main issue I perceive most people having with this... it's obviously a cost-saving move resulting in a less than stellar...

Looking more closely at the pictures, I'm not totally convinced HISSMegs will be quite as big, as it looks like Baroness' legs are slightly bent to fit. They wouldn't need to be in the Joe toy, so maybe it'll be a little smaller.

Makes sense - I presume you missed Action Force then too which is how the UK got the toy back in the day.

Yeah - I think they made the same mistake they did with Star Wars Transformers in that they limited their possibilities by trying to force a G1 Megatron out of a HISS tank, rather than making it Megatron-as-a-HISS-tank. All the great designs from the comics adjusted the bot modes to work with...

No, I know. I guess I'm surprised because there has been enough crossover between the two over the last near-40 years, and the HISS is arguably the iconic Cobra vehicle.

Have you... never seen the HISS tank before? Anyway yeah - could have had a little better alt-mode integration, but it appears to be about "full-sized", so that's pretty big.

I'm sure someone out there has mysteriously had a half dozen "break", so now they just don't allow anyone to do it.

On the one hand, the throne room playset should work with the earlier playset and presumably you can clear all the other stuff off and put a Jabba on the platform. On the other hand - that's a lot of scratch.

100% this. The whole series was uneven, and the finale was just more so. I really don't get why it went the way it did. Even the cool things were quickly overcome by "what the?" moments. At least the Mando interlude of eps 5 and 6 was good and hopefully indicates a return to form.

Got my Behold Galvatron. Has anyone found/heard of additional arms for the ship stand that came with Haslab Unicron? I've tried searching Shapeways, but it's mostly impossible to find anything there without wading through dozens of pages of unrelated junk. I'd love to be able to display the...
