  1. Hasbr-uh-oh - Business and Tariffs Discussion

If my Ollies is, in any way, indicative of broader issues...I'd heartily agree. Last time I was there, they STILL had a full end cap of Marvel Legends figures, mostly from Age of Apocalypse and the live action stuff. Even Marvels, which hadn't even been released when I first saw the wave at...
  2. Tomb Raider

Digital Foundry posted a tech breakdown. I do disagree on the jank in the Classic Graphics mode, the 30 fps and odd frame pacing I think is more accurate to the original, unrefined, games. I'll be sad if/when that gets patched.
  3. G.I. Joe thread - 09/13/2024: Pulsecon - Dreadnoks, Dogs and Cereal

Leaked in package images have cropped up for a couple new, unannounced, Joe items: Mad Marauders Low Light and Spirit 2 pack and Marauders Sgt. Slaughter https://news.hisstank.com/2024/02/12/g-i-joe-classified-mad-marauders-sgt-slaughter-low-light-and-spririt-iron-knife-2-pack-86491 The more...
  4. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

New leaks for Turtles of Grayskull! Feels appropriate to keep most info here about the line, given Mattel making it and the strong MOTU influence and tooling. Reminder on wave 3 and Deluxe figures- Deluxe figures are split between Walmart and Target. Walmart’s do NOT feature the BAF of...
  5. Deadpool 3!!

Entertainment Earth has a tease up for Tuesday, the 13th, possibly indicating reveals for Deadpool and Wolverine Legends figures.
  6. Deadpool 3!!

I was unexpectedly giddy over the Patch cameo, myself. Also, a LOT more TVA than I expected, to the point I was a bit disappointed they didn’t reuse more of the amazing production design from the Loki series.
  7. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

He’s referencing a “flash in the pan” drink from the mid-90s. MASSIVE marketing budget, but was gone almost as quick as it appeared. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orbitz_(drink) The name is currently used by a travel booking site
  8. 40th Anniversary Haslab: RID2001 Omega Prime

Honestly, I think RED is a done thing, just coasting on the handful of new molds and redecos (of which, I’m not sure all will see release). I think, if momentum sustains, a nice, 3”, articulated, T-AI would be a nice stretch goal (20K maybe?). Yes, they COULD do a little figurine or something...
  9. A Long Time Ago In a Galaxy Far, Far Away.... - Star Wars General Discussion

Actually, Micro Galaxy Squadron is done by Jazwares :p Either way, I'm betting an E-Wing in that scale within the next year, I'm waiting for that myself. I don't have the space or money for a 1/18 E-Wing. I can swing a 4-5" ship for $20, though.
  10. Thundercats - General Discussion (and some Silverhawks too, whynot)

Wave 5 of SilverHawks ULTIMATES are going up for PreOrder. It's just Copper Kidd and his Space Racer vehicle. If you order both from Super7, they'll include a bonus accessory and "winking" head sculpt for Copper Kidd. I'm torn on committing $205 for both (still got to worry about Omega...
  11. Generations Selects Appreciation Thread

Hasbro IS rerunning the older Dinobots, besides Grimlock getting new deco versions.
  12. Transformers Legacy toyline

IIRC, Origins Wheeljack is still a Target exclusive. Target just pushed Hasbro to release him under the Legacy banner instead of Buzzworthy (maybe that initiative is winding down?). It's like how Red Cog was a Target exclusive, despite main line packaging.
  13. Transformers Legacy toyline

Tempted by Grimlock. I'm a sucker for Grim, and the shading effects are pretty well done, compared to Shockwave. That said, Shockwave is tempting just based on the pure iconography of that cover (even beyond the Transformers fandom), and shows how nice a G1 Optimus with yellow eyes can look...
  14. G.I. Joe thread - 09/13/2024: Pulsecon - Dreadnoks, Dogs and Cereal

So…if anyone is interested…you can get Snake Eyes Origin Classified Akiko from Amazon for $3.50, if you’re a Prime member.
  15. Sonic The Hedgehog

Sonic The Hedgehog 3 was released 30 years ago…yesterday. If you have memories of playing it when it was new…then you be OLD.
  16. G.I. Joe thread - 09/13/2024: Pulsecon - Dreadnoks, Dogs and Cereal

Great reveals yesterday, even if there isn’t much for me to say about each figure on their own merits (Hasbro does good work, there is some light modernization, but Pretty retro). I’m a sucker for Tiger Force, so those are a given. Probably see how much I can get for my Heavy Assault Roadblock...
  17. 40th Anniversary Haslab: RID2001 Omega Prime

The big issue I see was that, if Hasbro were to “scale” these guys closer to the broader Legacy line…then people would complain they were not “impressive enough” for a HasLab offering. Wouldn’t matter what modifications or improvements Hasbro would have made, the overall message that would...
  18. 40th Anniversary Haslab: RID2001 Omega Prime

Eh, it was one of those recent Leaders :p But I think my point stands: Hasbro probably would have made a “good enough” Deathsaurus even if a retool. Just like I think Legacy Skyquake/Dreadwing have the potential to give us “good enough” iterations of King Atlas, Machine Wars Starscream or G1...
  19. Traitor Watch - The 45 & 47 Thread

I’m still rolling the dice on him dying from his health style and stress (maybe even suicide) before he spends a day in prison. I think it’s still up in the air if he’ll even survive through the Insurrection prosecution, given how long he and his lawyers are dragging it out.
  20. 40th Anniversary Haslab: RID2001 Omega Prime

Here’s my view on Haslab: I sincerely believe that Hasbro should be saving the initiative for stuff that are TRULY not viable at the mass market. Granted, that limit is pretty darn fine when it comes to Transformers. Deathsaurus was REALLY toeing that line, as I think they could have made a...
