  1. Reasons why Grandus should be the next titan

Bah, in MY day we didn't HAVE Grandus! No, really, we didn't, he hadn't been invented yet, and even after he was it would be YEARS before news of him started filtering to America... Then again, I also got a G1 Thundercracker as my first Transformer back when it was totally new, and remember...
  2. Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see 40 years worth of Transformers!

I can't criticize anyone's Scourge/Sweep choices, a while back I realized I could add Target/Battlemasters to the TR mold without any modification (which I had two different colors of due to clearance sales from both TR and Takara, plus a spare Sweep head) and I haven't bothered changing them...
  3. Transformers Legacy toyline

I always sort of envisioned it as they come out of the shells, combine, and then the shells allow them to functionally be both separate AND combined at once. Wow, those are awesome...and even BIGGER, but proportionally not that different from the originals in scale. Checking out both Double...
  4. Transformers Legacy toyline

That would honestly be awesome, to have the 'rider' both ride on or IN the Dinosaur (or maybe got eaten by his ride...) Pretenders hide their cross-brand marketing potential inside?
  5. Transformers Legacy toyline

That's part of why I want to get some matching shells if I can, I love how they looked and wanted a 'modern' version. I still want a Dinoking set if I can swing it anyway, but now I'm not sure if my idea can be pulled off in a cost-effective way.
  6. Transformers Legacy toyline

I finally found a picture of the original Dinoking and shells, and while I knew his components were Micromaster sized and made for a very small combiner, I hadn't realized HOW small he was compared to his shells: The thing is, this might throw a monkey-wrench in my idea of restoring Pretender...

Rave reviews. Really, they said clearly, the cast is totally raving.
  8. Transformers Legacy toyline

Does this release use foil stickers? I don't know when Hasbro wised up to those.
  9. Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see 40 years worth of Transformers!

Not THAT bad, there was a surprising lack of severed limbs in those compared to prior installments. Ruined the franchise forever, I hear. The hard part will be keeping track of the sequence of events where Space Orphan leaves on a Space Ship with Space Truckers to see Space Princess who sends...
  10. The new Transformers Deal Thread

*Checks posted ad* *realizes year* If anyone needs me I will be at the bottom of the thread crying.

The disassemble-able bots have so many amazing action shots you can use them for! This isn't one of them:
  12. Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see 40 years worth of Transformers!

New Conspiracy Theory: The difference between Armada and Now is that Coily the Spring Sprite got loose in Hasbro once, and...
  13. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

I didn't realize my space/cost issue was that common. It's honestly part of why I went with an Amazon-points Collector rather than Snake Mountain. It still had a Skeleton throne, but was a lot more compact and was functionally ten bucks. Plus I did love the 'evil talon fighter' vibe and...
  14. Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see 40 years worth of Transformers!

Ah, I see. I see the laughing Icon, but I only wish it was a joke...RIP my own TM Megatron...
  15. Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see 40 years worth of Transformers!

It must have amazing powers, he's not snapped at the waist!
  16. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

That's odd. I thought it was very impressive. Then again, I wasn't going to order one and didn't see what it would do for me, and I guess that's the problem, if others had the same response. But my issues were mostly financial and space, the lair itself was quite nice!
  17. Transformers Legacy toyline

The new line will be the TherapyMasters, representing all the things kids from the 80's saw RUINED FOREVER as the concepts were JaAm'd into a modern era with different budget requirements and material cost estimates. TherapyMasters hide their deep seated inferiority complexes inside! The tech...
  18. Transformers Legacy toyline

The biggest trouble for Pretenders is the legs. With modern jointing, you can't just leave them empty and hollow directly connecting into the torso for extra space. On the other hand, Double Pretender Megatron/Grand Maximus's shell didn't use that space anyway and still fits a lot more than a...
  19. Transformers Legacy toyline

That's what I expect from a future Thunderwing, honestly. A variation on how CW Magnus did it, but as a space jet.
  20. Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see 40 years worth of Transformers!

If you're ok with an Action Master Primus you could just have it as a shell that goes over your dog or pump house, and then put HasLab Unicron on top of it. Or if you wanted higher-end, a Cybertron shaped storage shed that you can then put your OTHER toys inside. The only problem I see...
